"Love them! Been going here since I was little. Great skills and a hair place for life"
"Everything you want from your local beauty salon. Black owned mother and daughter business. I get my locks twisted and sometimes colored here. Very friendly and inviting place. Amazing prices!"
"My daughter and I went in for natural hair care. I wanted a wash and set but was told it wasn’t possible. I know by experience that’s not the case but I just decided to ask for a silk press and she said she can “flat iron it”. I should have walked out at this point but I like to give the benefit of the doubt. We both got our hair washed and she seems surprised I have curly hair and is yanking it out as she used her hand dryer. I look over to the older woman doing my daughters hair and she is going Edward scissorhands over there. She was only supposed to trim and hardly any at that seeing how my daughter didn’t really need it anyway. (She just got a chop in January). After about 40 mins of flat ironing I realize my hair is not straight and she isn’t using a good heat protector. I had to tell her to turn up the iron and ask if she had anything else. At some point she was supposed to even out my hair from my past stylist disaster, she chopped and chunked my hair to an even worse situation. My daughter and I both left with our hair uneven and poorly styled. (They hid this tragedy by wrapping our hair before leaving) I lost 3 inches of hair and it’s still not even! They have no idea what to do with natural hair. I wish they had simply said that rather than winging it on the BOTH of us. Ruined my daughters first day of school and I simply refuse to wear my hair out until it grows back. Luckily I can do my own hair so pretty sure that’s my last salon trip for the rest of my life"
"I love this place, I felt no pain, it felt very relaxed, it was a nice vibe and I certainly would recommend this place. I got my hair washed, blow dried, and straightened and the process did not take long. The best hair salon experience I’ve ever had."
"I bought a unit from Mayvenn and had it customized by another hairdresser, but it did not turn out great at all. They gave me a new one and I had Carol customize it- she took pictures of my hair, measured my head, and had it ready it a few days. When I came in she cut the lace on me and even laid it down for me (which she didn’t have to do)! It turned put sooo much better than the last one with a realistic hairline!! Plus they are so nice!! Would recommend!"
