"It has been pathetic experience, our maintenance requests have been due for last 5 months and no action has been taken even after follow up for more than 20 times may be. We have had to visit them in person for more than 10 times and still no resolution has been provided. we just renewed the lease in impression that we will get better response at service requests but nothing has changed. My service requests have been pending for months. Even till date, some issue with rental billing made me pay extra $50 that has not been refunded for last 18 months. If I had enough time and energy I would have surely taken this to consumer courts - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings"
"Apartment complex does not care about it's tenants. Packages stolen all the time, laundry machines don't work or eat your money, elevators broken a lot, dog poop in hallways and in main walkways outside not cleaned up, common areas always gross and dirty, ceilings leaking, water take forever to get hot and you have to pay for the 5 mins of running water to as you wait for it to get hot, rats in parking lot, bugs in apartments, snow removal is subpar, trash overflows, just not a place I suggest to anyone. No accountability on behalf of complex management, just excuses and them telling us too bad but figure it out on your own. Obviously frustrated, but it's because the complex does nothing to fix any issues or complaints."
"I would like to say I was confident upon moving in, the receptionist Samira at the front desk is very unprofessional and never has any information. Multiple things have gone wrong in the unit and I have lived here less than 2 months. I was advised it would be completed upon move in. The maintenance men are entering my unit with no notice. What happened to calling without notice even if someone became available. I had to wait a whole week to speak to property manager. I should have read the reviews before arriving."
"I just renewed my lease here and I really wish I didn’t. The amount of money they charge in rent and all the fees for every single thing on top of that is absurd. I’ve had money left on my resident portal to automatically pay my bill taken TWICE without notice and both times the charges were reversed because they knew that they shouldn’t have taken it. Imagine who else this happens to. We pay for water and sewer and majority of the time the water is either not hot or is off WITHOUT notice or they notify you after they’ve already received calls from the whole complex but they charge $50 late fees if the water bill isn’t paid on time. They “complete” work orders in the system and the maintenance doesn’t even show up to actually do the work. On top of all this, we live amongst THIEVES and all they say is they can’t put camera’s. Inside my cabinets smell bad to the point we have to rewash whatever dish so that it doesn’t smell and they look horrible and chipped away as if the last tenant did home improvements and took them off before they left and they were never restored back to new. My closet doors haven’t stayed on one time in the year I’ve been here and both my bathroom sinks fill up so quick to the point you can’t even leave the water running brushing your teeth. Save yourself the trouble if you’re looking to rent here seriously because the money you pay, will not be worth it at all."
"Do not move here! The worst experience I have ever had from start to continued service. Safety is the least concern of this property staff and management. Maintenance requests are completed and often closed when work has not been completed. It’s so bad I have a work order still not done since I moved in back in 2022. Doors don’t work properly (have reported issues with my building since Dec 2022 still never fixed properly), elevators are death traps, police are called regularly due to random people coming into the property. Police department even told residents how many times they keep telling management things to do to improve safety but they do not listen. They even told us when removing folks that don’t live here once they found a gun in the person’s possession. Fire department is also regularly here for residents being stuck in the elevators. Greystar property is a horrible company and if you look at other properties they own you will find they are all run the same, terribly. Can’t wait until my lease is up. Many neighbors of mine that are new residents said they will not renew. Do not be fooled by the pictures it doesn’t look like they make it appear."
