Quarry Edge 445

"Fantastic experience living here for two years, only moved out because we wanted to own a house. Highlights: 1. Gebsco management and Peter Mercurio were fantastic and *extremely* responsive to any maintenance issues. Our dishwasher was making a loud noise and they completely replaced it within a few days of being notified. 2. As others have said, the apartments are *very* quiet, well-built, and well-maintained. We didn't have a single noise issue during our time here. 3. Parking is easy and garages are available if needed. They also have separate dedicated storage areas available for a very reasonable price. 4. The gym is well-equipped for the size of the building. 5. Safe, and very fairly priced I am having a tough time thinking of many drawbacks to living at Quarry Edge. The biggest issue some might have is the location. It worked well for what we needed (on/off access to the interstate for commuting doesn't get any faster), but you won't be able to walk to much from the building. If my house catches on fire, we are moving back to Quarry Edge!"

"My roommate and I are going on our third year living at Quarry Edge, and we have had nothing but positive experiences to date. I was confused to see a couple negative reviews of this place, but since they all seem to be baseless, I figured I'd chime in as well. First of all, the GEBSCO management team is exceptional. They are incredibly easy to reach, professional, and prompt at addressing any issues that arise. The building is also cleaned regularly. They even offer up free Red Sox tickets to tenants throughout the season! I have experienced first hand several "absentee" landlords and property managers in the past, and I can assure you that is not the case here. Our apartment itself is spacious, modern, comfortable, and QUIET. The walls are quite thick, and we have never had an issue with noisy neighbors. The in-unit washer/dryer is a huge plus, and the gym on the first floor has all of the essentials. I highly recommend Quarry Edge to anyone looking for a safe, affordable, and conveniently located apartment just outside of the city!"

"I have been a tenant at Quarry Edge for 2 years, and recently renewed my lease for a third year. I have no financial interests in posting this review and no connections to any of the managing parties; as such, this is an unbiased, detailed review from an actual tenant. Everything about this apartment complex is fantastic. My biggest "wants" in an apartment are 1) Soundproofing, 2) Parking 3) Responsive and kind management and 4) Amenities. Quarry Edge 445 has all of this, and more. 1) The soundproofing is fantastic. Despite being a somewhat light sleeper and despite being near-ish to the highway, there is almost no noise. My roommate snores frequently and loudly and likes to fall asleep with his TV on, which would normally prevent me from falling asleep, but I cannot hear anything when our doors are both closed. We have adjoining rooms, so this alone should speak to how excellent the soundproofing is. Being able to fall asleep is probably my top ask for an apartment, and I have never once had an issue with this; the walls are not paper thin like many apartments, which is by FAR my biggest concern when I look at places to live. 2) Parking is very good. There are very nice garage spots that can be rented and outdoor parking is also available. There are even visitor spots for guests, and Pete does an excellent job managing the parking. This isn't a minor thing for a Boston area property. 3) Peter Mercurio and Gebsco in general have always been wonderful to deal with. Maintenance is responsive and tenant needs are addressed quickly, but we are always notified beforehand of any need to enter our apartment units. Peter in particular goes above and beyond the call of duty; we had once lost our guest parking pass, and he got us a copy to use within 1 day. We also had a situation this year where we were unsure if we would be able to renew our lease and asked for more time and Peter gladly worked with us and kept in contact with us; this removed a ton of stress from our situation. I have not had a single issue with the management in the two years I have lived here and I have only had positive interactions with them. 4) The amenities here are top-notch. There is a small workout room downstairs with basic equipment, storage units are available, parking, the works. In-unit laundry, spacious kitchens (which matter to me, I love cooking!), and responsive management make this a wonderful place to live. Peter and Gebsco also do a stellar job of screening residents; I have NEVER had a bad interaction or issues with any other residents that live here, and everyone I have met in the halls and elevators is really friendly."

"After living in Quarry Edge 445 for a year, I highly recommend renting here. Both the interior and exterior of the building are beautifully designed, and the apartments offer a luxury, modern aesthetic. Additionally, the location is great. It's right off the highway, and Willard Street has endless options for coffee shops, restaurants, gyms, bookstores, and more. Gebsco Realty and the building manager Pete do an incredible job managing the building. I remember a few instances when urgent issues arose far past business hours, and Pete was there and happy to help after a quick phone call or text. In sum, my experience at Quarry Edge will be hard to match in future apartments, and I very much suggest choosing Quarry Edge as your next home!"

"We have lived at Quarry 445 since July of 2016 and really like it. The location is good, close to public transportation, the airport, shopping, Boston, etc., and it is a “Pet Friendly” environment. I want to note there is a new Management Team and they doing a great job. I do want to note that the property/building Manager never has lived at the location. It is a quite place and great place to live and it is well worth checking out."
