"This place is the absolute worst, imagine spirit airlines but an apartment complex. Everything in the gym is broken or stolen. The front doors get broken and smashed frequently. Dogs pee in the elevators and the elevators don't work half the time. They don't give a damn about excessive noise even though they label themselves as soundproof and "luxury." They also let other people park in a spot you may extra for. Security is pretty non existent. They also give away your security deposit to your roommate which you may not have contact with anymore just cause. The only thing they have going for them is Catarina and the other girl at the front desk who actually try to address the issues and get things done on point. Sheesh. edit*** The number they gave me goes straight to voicemail. I forgot to mention they never answer the phones or respond to voicemails timely. Respectfully Daisy"

"I would like to pay your maintenance staff a very complimentary review. Kevin went above and beyond to satisfy my service request. The original request was regarding my garbage disposal. He got it working, but being the professional that Kevin is, he noticed that the disposal was leaking. Kevin wasted no time getting a new disposal, and installed it. Once again, most people would be satisfied, but not Kevin. He noticed that the faucet was leaking. Once again, Kevin was off to get a new faucet and installed the new faucet. When Kevin was about to leave, I mentioned that I needed to submit another work request for a clogged bathroom sink. Even though it was after 5 PM, Kevin said let me take care of it now." It is because of people like Kevin that I would recommend Mystic Place to potential renters."

"The apartment community is nice, good amenities and good community to live overall, my low star rating is because of the constant issues which are never addressed and are a major safety concern: 1. Doors getting constantly banged by group of pre-teens and things getting broken by them. 2. Lewd comments and remarks towards females made by these pre-teens. 3. Other health hazard conditions: people constantly urinating in elevators, trash rooms not being cleaned with smell in doorways, 4. Packages being stolen"

"2nd edit: To management's credit, the elevators have been working for around 2 months now which has made living here so much better. I'm leaving the rest of the review up since they took way longer to fix than they should've, but are not currently an issue. Edit to the below: Both elevators were finally working for a bit but one or often both have been broken again the last couple months. If you have limited mobility and are considering living here, please be aware there may be days when you literally can't leave/enter your home because management seems to have decided this is a viable cost cutting area and refuses to switch to a competent elevator contractor. It's a shame because the property itself is otherwise very good value for the area and the maintenance & office staff members are really nice. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are several issues with this complex that other reviews mention (cockroaches, excessive noise, random shopping carts left in hallways etc) but the one that has been the worst to deal with is the elevators. Our building has probably 600+ residents and 2 elevators, 1 of which has been marked out of service for at least 2 months and according to some residents who have been here longer, close to a year. The one "working" elevator has broken down at least ~8 times in the month we've lived here, during which time residents in a 12 story building are forced to use a crowded stairwell that is usually wet and sometimes smells of urine. Even when it is working, during busy parts of the day people ignore management guidelines of 2 people per elevator (which to be fair is an absurd expectation for a building of this size with one working elevator) and cram in to the point where not only is socially distancing not possible during a pandemic but you're physically touching others. Around 1/5 of residents don't wear masks for whatever reason, which massively compounds the risk of simply leaving and entering your apartment. Management has given us 5 dates that the elevator will be fixed by, only for the date to inevitably pass for which they blame the company they chose and continue to choose to service the elevators (Schindler Elevator Group). Today when the one working elevator in our building went out again, I checked out the lobbies of the other two buildings out of curiosity. Of course, the left hand elevator in each was marked out of order exactly as in our building. In short, if you want to live somewhere managed by a company whose actions or lack thereof habitually demonstrate that it could care less about its residents' health and safety especially during a pandemic, Mystic Place is for you. If you'd rather not worry about getting COVID and giving it to your loved ones just by leaving and entering your building, I recommend looking elsewhere."
