"At first glance it is a really nice apartment building in a convenient location. We are in a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom. The bedrooms in many of the apartments we viewed were tiny but we were lucky to get one of the few with a walk in closet. Overall it’s just not worth the amount of money they charge for “luxury” living. Our apartment is pretty loud on the street side even with the windows closed and we can hear our neighbors above us. The windows are very drafty and the way the heat flows through the apartment our bedroom is constantly much colder then the other half of the apartment. We were told the only way to fix that is to close the other vents in the apartment. We enjoy the free WiFi and maintenance has been very helpful the multiple times we’ve had to call them. So many things fall apart and we even had hoses disconnect from our washer spraying water everywhere which would have caused terrible damage if i wasn’t home to immediately fix it. As far as security goes, the garage door has only worked a few months out of the year and a half we have been here. We pay $125 for each car and it was pretty dangerous to enter and exit through only one door when the other was vandalized for months. With them open we saw people breaking into cars one night. We reported it and the building didn’t even send out a notice to warn people. I’ve had two packages stolen after receiving pictures from the delivery driver showing them in the package room. The package situation in general is a mess. Emblem 120 has threatened to send packages back if they aren’t picked up within ONE day due to storage issues. There’s many issues with the amenities as well. For starters they lied about the timing of things opening and didn’t offer any compensation. We were told the courtyard would be open in September of 2022 and it wasn’t until February of 2023 and even then the fire pits, grills etc weren’t usable for months after that. The pool is cold and about half of it is 6 inches deep. There is free coffee but a majority of the time I go down it is either out of espresso, out of cups or waiting for a cleaning cycle leaving it unusable til someone from the office comes to fix it. People here aren’t very considerate. Multiple times the trash chute rooms are littered with people’s garbage and food that you have to walk over to put your own trash away. The pool sticks are broken, and some of the TVs in the common areas don’t work or the smart screens used to control them don’t work. You pay a high price for these amenities and expect that it will be worth the money and at Emblem 120 it just isn’t. The management team doesn’t care about their residents just making money."

"Under Hira’s leadership, I’ve noticed significant improvements. The transformation is remarkable. For instance, the new staff has been incredibly helpful, contributing to the success of various residents' events which I truly enjoy. It allows us to mingle with one another. The positive changes have truly enhanced my overall experience."

"Rude Staff. Illusion built on lies. Don’t be fooled. Best advice- as nice as the facilities appear to be… it’s NOT worth it… and definitely NOT as it appears!! Not many ppl are ever out in these common use spaces due to several factors: noise is too loud due to open spaces so noise from a conversation travels all over. Many times the lobby music isn’t lined up from one room to the other but you can hear the other rooms song echoing (lagging) behind which does a number on the brain- you just want to leave the area. The use of room fragrance is so overpowering- you almost choke!! Several times you see the mist from the room fragrance spray machine shoot out & smelled like very strong, cheap cologne for the first 6+ months. Thereafter the scent was switched to something a tad more bearable but still way too overpowering. I believe the scent being too strong & music being too loud is intentional to keep ppl from gathering in the beautiful common use rooms. Then there’s the private offices, which are a great in theory but my family cooked in them- there’s one thermostat in one mini office but it controls all the separate office spaces. They’re not an actual realistic use of space as you feel you’re suffocating in them. There’s the lounge on the 6th floor which should be nice but the music is Way too loud in here as well- forget ever reading or being able to think to hold a conversation in these spaces. The beautiful spaces are for looks ONLY!! The pool is way too cold to use ever & the air isn’t fresh in the center, enclosed patio pool area bc everyone’s dryer vents shoot out into this area. The doors inside/outside & elevators were originally designed to be locked in that only residents can get anywhere in the building. After one too many food delivery guys were unable to get into the elevator or use locked stairs- Management stopped using this system unless it’s night & only the outside doors or stairs are locked now. Safety that was originally sold is non existent now. Initially there appeared there was an issue finding residents unlike Avalon which was built a tad sooner than Emblem. The economy played into this I believe & many rooms sat empty. Apparently the lack of sales required Emblem to let go of any decent staff that initially worked here- they were professional, presented well & had a sophisticated business presence. Instead Emblem120 hired very young, inexperienced, unprofessional “kids” that are rude & never answer the phones. You can never reach anyone ab anything here. Forget maintenance… a pile of vomit was never cleaned up on the parking garage for 6+months (see pics). The trash area on each floor remained locked & non functional (locked shoots, couldn’t throw trash away so it piled up in the trash room!!) so naturally residents would take to the can on the parking garage- where it piled up, spilled over & remained a mess perpetually. And what a DISASTER the garage is- half the time the doors wouldn’t open up from inside causing ppl to get piled up. Someone vandalized the garage door that you enter from outside- so everyone had to use the one exit-only door!! Crazy how dangerous & why are the garage doors so narrow anyhow?! Extremely poor design. So you’re paying top dollar to reside here & you’re at risk ruining your car getting in/out of the garage and now bc the only working door remains open 24/7- safety of vehicles + someone accessing the floors is a concern. On safety concerns- the apartment has decided to host a good amount of men that are creepy (saying they observed me many times in the building & asking inappropriate questions + telling me they’re all illegals) 4 men living in one apartment together, many groups of them… safety is nonexistent here, it’s all a facade!! Would love to know how so many unsavory ppl like the ones mentioned above are able to lease here whereas we had to be highly vetted to get our lease. A lot changed here from their opening to going down hill literally within months. Skip this place- it’s truly an illusion… consider it a Siren calling out to you at sea…"

"We had a great experience at Emblem 120! The amenities are top-notch. Personally, I really liked the study space and library for remote work. Also, the staff were incredibly friendly throughout our stay. If you have a chance, catch the sunset from the top floor. It's beautiful!"
