"older maintenance ignores very serious issues and is overall aggressive and/or dismissive, disrespectful, especially to women and are very shady, wanting to salvage things that should be fully replaced, asking for me to replace/pay for things that are not my financial responsibility. One of them raised their voice at me inside my own home among other things, another was talking down to me, another was dismissive of a serious issue that got resolved because I pushed for it to get resolved. I’m having to push maintence to do a job fully and correctly, and even after I make sure that happens, most things take multiple visits from them and/or have to be done twice because the first time it was done incorrectly. I was really happy how they moved me in and were responsive, and the women and new hired maintence who own/run the office are great although I have heard the older maintnece crew interrupting or talking over the women from office multiple times. I have ignored a lot because I didn’t want anything to affect me potentially needing to renew my lease but i finally decided today I should speak up because I shouldn’t have to be concerned about maintence being disrespectful etc or if they can comple a basic job correctly."

"Initially when I moved to the apartment, I thought may be I did mistake. But the society has improved a lot with new Leasing Manager Jenifer. She has made the place lively and kids enjoy like anything with lively swimming pools and kids friendly environment where kids plays freely. If you have kids, this is the place they will love to stay. New leasing management is very friendly and above that they are thinking about how your kids and families can utilize the amenities and make the place fill with lots of joy and happiness. I love the society even more now. Also it has great schools. I recommend it anyone whoever wants to move here I can say definitely that you have made the RIGHT CHOICE."

"My husband and I have lived here since the opening of the complex when it was Casco Crossing. With new management, it was renamed Abbot Landing. The management of the complex is really helpful, supportive and responsive. Debbie and David really work to the tenants to make this a great place to live. They also respond to any maintenance issue quickly and give courtesy calls when our packages are delivered to the office. We are grateful that they take good care of the complex and us!"

"I have not lived here, but I tried. The rents shown online are not accurate. Once you go there you are told rent marked up by $200-300 per month (calculated in the head, on the fly, by the way). The apartments/buildings/facilities are not worth the money being asked now. Be transparent about your rents and dont expect customers to start paying premium rents ($2175 for a 2-bedroom) BEFORE you have done anything to improve the facility."

"Casco Crossing is a horrible place to live. If you move here, expect extraordinarily thin walls, thin ceilings and pathetic management. Actually, pathetic may be an understatement when describing the management, as they are also racist, unprofessional and far from caring or compassionate. You can hear everything from upstairs AND downstairs apartments. You’ll hear every single door open and close, every single cabinet open and close; and you’re in even more trouble if you live near the entrances to the building. Unless, of course, you thoroughly enjoy the stampede sound that comes from people running up and down the stairs and the main door of the building slamming closed. I called to complain about a party that was going on until 3:00am. The management laughed, and told me to call the police because they could not do anything. A few weeks later, I had my parents and brother over for dinner and to watch the Bruins hockey game. The management showed up on my porch, not even the front door, to tell me that he could hear us and we needed to be quiet from now on. The difference is that all of my guests left my apartment before the 10:00pm quiet hours. So how was our small get together disruptive, but teenagers partying at 3:00am aren’t? I should probably also mention that I’ve been living here for almost 7 months and have yet to receive the lease, even after 20 phone calls and voicemails requesting it from them. They keep telling me they will get to it or mail it. I can’t wait to get out. I would not resign the lease if they offered me free rent for 10 years. DO NOT LIVE HERE."
