"I've been here and year and half and I love it. From the woody surroundings, to the modern, well-kept apartments and shared living spaces - I feel happy and safe here. Maintenance and the leasing office are very responsive. There's also lots of EV chargers and elevators in all buildings, which is especially hard to find in this area. Thank you, Cirrus team!"
"Would be nice if the community went 1 week without police on the grounds due to domestic disputes or parties. The management does NOTHING in regards to serious violations or minor violations. An email will be sent regularly to all tenants but that’s it. There’s a real lack of class and manners for fellow neighbors. It appears anyone that is willing pay can live here. “Non smoking community” is not enforced, empty beer bottles and packs of empty cigarettes everywhere. The property has potential, but it’s on a major down slide. Do not recommend for families or anyone that is concerned for their safety. Some very sketchy residents here."
"The good: Apartments are spacious and renovated. One of the few places to find a 2 bedroom plus a den that could be used as a 3 bedroom. They are dog (and cat!) friendly. Close to the T (once they finally finish working on it). Dog parks are nice and so are many of the people and dogs that go there. We moved in sight unseen from across the country and were pleasantly surprised. At first. That’s really all that’s good. The bad: Oh boy. When we first moved in we were impressed with the cleanliness, the units, and how quiet it was. We had to talk to management about the accessible parking situation, but the people in the office at the time did handle it. Since then I think we’ve had at least 3 property managers and high staff turnover. It’s just gotten progressively worse since then. The property is disgusting. Cigarette butts, dog poop, food wrappers, food (whole slices of pizza!) beer bottles and soda cans, rotting groceries, and a lovely pile of vomit on the sidewalk that has slowly been disintegrating in front of building 5. The trash situation is also awful. Think exploded poopy kitty litter and food trash all over the ground by the trash compactor and a mountain of trash bags on the ground every time the compactor breaks. You have to carry your trash to the compactor yourselves, so those with mobility needs may struggle here. Ironically they also have no doggie pick up stations in the front only in the back. I always pick up after our dogs regardless, but that may explain the amount of unpicked up dog poop everywhere. Package situation is a disaster. Packages go one of 3-4 places IF they are delivered to you in the first place, you may or may not know where, and there are a lot of packages being broken into and items being removed as well as lost packages. Then there’s the food subscription boxes that sit and rot for MONTHS. There is a Factor box in the entry if building 4 that has been there for about 3 weeks and it reeks. Then there’s maintenance. Again. Brace yourselves. Our building had a gas leak. We reported the smell. We thought they had come like they said they would (the smell was in the stairwell/hall not our unit). But no. They did not. The fire department showed up at our door 24 hours later about the gas leak. That could have blown up the whole building. No big deal. Work orders are either never answered or they take weeks or months. We have a leaking sink that occasionally leaks all over the floor. Still hasn’t been fixed. We have family members with accessibility needs and requested to transfer to a lower level unit and that has never come to fruition despite there being units available online. So with the gas leak plus fire alarms going off on 1-2 occasions since we’ve moved in and having to have those with mobility needs in our household crawl down from the top floor it’s not been a fun time (and also, in a real fire, we’d probably be dead). Oh then there was the wild brawl in building 5 (probably the source of the vomit) where there were multiple cop cars and several arrests followed by people wandering around until 2am. Plus the unattended wild kids that scream and bang on walls until midnight. The rent is ridiculously high (and has it gotten higher?) and so is utilities. I think the solar panels are just for show. We are considering what options we may have moving forwards, but our lease isn’t up for a while and we would need at least 3 bedrooms in our price range. No one actually responds to phone calls or emails. If they do, it’s an automated response thinking you’re a new prospective tenant. Half the time the offices are closed so you can’t tell to someone in person either. Sometimes I think the property is just running itself. Slowly. Into the ground."
"A mostly horrible experience living here. I've been here about 11 months and have had multiple issues just in that short time. First, even though this is a very new construction, they did not take proper measures to ensure sounds and smells don't come directly into your apartment from other units. Someone, or multiple people, smoke cigarettes in their apartments (despite this being smoke free property) and it has been leaking into my bathrooms and coat closet since I moved in. I am forced to constantly run my fans resulting in a high electricity bill. Also, all of my fall/winter coats now STINK. The stench also can be smelled coming in through my air ducts so when I was using the AC all summer, it just circulated the smell. I smell it now as I write this... I've escalated this health concern multiple times to management and they refuse to do anything, let alone respond to my emails even now with new "management". You can also hear everything above AND below you. With inconsiderate neighbors stomping around and letting their dogs bark and run loose, it is hardly a relaxing experience. The materials they used for the floors, doors, and cabinets can in no way be called luxury as they are cheap. Yes the counter tops are granite but that's about it for luxury. Shoddy paint job on the walls as well. The hallways in the buildings are often dirty and smell awful too. The small, poorly-equipped gym can get crowded but you can still get a decent workout. The "resort style" pool they have here is ok - unfortunately you cannot escape the screaming/uncontrolled children if you were expecting to relax. There has been issues of dog feces lying around by irresponsible dog owners too. And speaking of filth, the trash unit had broken multiple times over the summer so we were forced to just pile up trash on the side of that building - not pleasant in 90 degree heat. I will give credit to the maintenance team when I moved in last year as they were responsive - haven't had to call them since so that is a plus. The trail around the property is also nice to walk on and the location right next to rt. 135 and the MBTA station are a plus as well. My apartment is a 2 bed 2 bath and it is spacious and I like the layout. TL/DR: The apartment space/layout and the location each earn one star - but the smoke stench in my apartment, no sound or smell insulation, inconsiderate neighbors/residents, and inept/negligent management have lost the rest."
"Great location but rampant theft and incompetent management makes it a disappointing place to live. Good: the location is excellent in a good part of Ashland, close to commuter rail and very nice and spacious apartments. Bad: In the 15 months we have lived here we have seen service go from bad to worse and then worst. In this time they have went through (at least) 3 property managers and 8 different employees. Our apartment had mold TWICE and at least once our health code concerns were dismissed as a nuisance. With such a high employee churn is hard to know where to voice a complaint. Not only that, we had plenty of other problems in our apartment that they were either inept to resolve or terribly slow. The most recent turn of events is a consistent theft of packages (Amazon and such) in an area they have designated to receive them (see pictures attached) - which doesnt have any surveillance sytem in place. When mentioned the theft of a tablet device I recently ordered to the current property manager, her response was very simple: "I am sorry to hear that, there is nothing I can do". From the candid testimony of many employees that have left, they all agree that the managing company, Inland Real Estate, make their best effort to invest $0 and drive their employees crazy with workload. If you have options, please look somewhere else to live."
