"The positive reviews on here are all lies, lies, LIES. I bet property managers are writing these good "FAKE" reviews. Especially the reviews about the internet service being excellent, I almost peed my pants laughing at that one. Providence Living is terrible, management is awful and if you can, stay far away from them, it'll save you a lot of wasted time and energy. These people are SLUM LORDS and do not care about their tenants at all. I would leave them ZERO stars if possible, they don't even deserve this one star. All the positive reviews on here were made by the company themselves, definitely wasn't written by a tenant or former tenant that's for sure."

"Google should implement a ZERO STAR option. Providence Living deserves NEGATIVE STARS, they aren't even close to to a 1 Star. The good reviews that refer to "Ali & Eli being so great" is true, however, they left the company some time ago. Good for them, I don't blame them...they probably got fed up too. Providence Living has the worst management, renting from this company has been treacherous. If you need something fixed, you better just do it yourself, maintenance requests usually go unanswered nine in a half times out of 10 (9.5/10) If they do respond, they never show up as scheduled, they will just approach you on the street when they see you outside and say "hey I can come now and check that out if you want" By then I have already fixed the problem myself, and on top of that, I didn't ask for a "pop-up" repair, you should have come on the scheduled date, or at least reach out and say you can't make it. Instead, they will keep you waiting and waiting. FOREWARNING TO ALL: Do not get on Lisa's bad side, she will ruin your life, or try to. During the course of my residency, it appeared that she found joy in making life for others difficult, that isn't just my opinion, many of my fellow neighbors had bad experiences with her as well. I read the Reviews on here and it seems that a lot of folks are taking matters up with the RI Center for Justice. I am on my way to that website as of now! Good Luck people, if you don't want a bunch of STRESS and unwanted negativity in your life, STAY far AWAY from PROVIDENCE LIVING at ALL COSTS!! You're Welcome.."

"PROVIDENCE LIVING IS A SCAM!!! They will probably take down my review since that is what they do but here it goes. My roommates and I just ended one of the worst leases I have ever experienced. First off they charged us to move in 6 days (the 25th instead of the 1st) but then still told us we had to be out by the 25th. What is the point of paying if the total amount of time equals on year. Secondly we had a MAJOR mouse issue. From the exact day we moved in we found a dead mouse in a closet and reported it to maintenance. Maintenance is absolutely useless!!! They never showed up for any issue and if they did it was days after . A broken oven ( which btw was broken as soon as we moved in) that maintenance was supposed to remove sat in our apartment for 3 WEEKS while we waited for maintenance. We endured countless issues while living there and once we moved out they charged us for broken/missing blinds ( which were never in the window to begin with) and a $420 cleaning fee (which we cleaned the apartment top to bottom before we left.) When we sent video proof of the apartment they said they would get back to us about changes and ghosted us. When we asked for a more detailed invoice they ignored our messages. Ignoring messages seems to be a common theme. I have lived in RI for 7 years and have received my security deposit back in every single apartment I have lived in because I take care of the place. These people are scammers and need to be held accountable because they are taking advantage of people that are just looking for safe place to leave. I also will be reporting them to the RI Department of Justice and you should to.!!!"

"I’ve lived in RI for 7 years and Providence Living has been by far the worst realitor company I worked with. They will ignore your living concerns. My roommates and I endured living with mouses and rats in our unit from the moment we moved in, with little to no help from maintenance. We had to threaten withholding our rent to have been taken seriously with our concerns. Our lease recently ended and the office decided to charge us outraging amounts, withholding a large amount of our security deposit without a providing a proper invoice. Do not work with them! They will ignore your concerns, emails and even text messages."

"Management is very responsive and helpful, especially Eli and Ali! We went through some big life challenges right before we moved across the country and they helped us every step of the way. They met our internet providers to be sure it was set up right when we arrived, they worked with us when we weren't sure if we were going to be able to finish out our lease, and they always did so with care. The apartment itself was entirely remodeled when we moved in and it was a great neighborhood to be in!"
