Summit Place,

"We were hoping to move into a quiet little community at Summit Place, far away from traffic or city noise on top of a big hill. Instead we seem to be under a herd of galloping, screaming children, and a barking dog that start at 6 am and don't stop until late into the evening. Sometimes landlords cheap out on padding and insulation when flooring and carpets are replaced and that decision can ruin a whole community. Sadly, that seems to be the case here. It's a huge disappointment to move in and find out that your new apartment is unlivable. We are exhausted and not sure what to do. We haven't had a moment's peace since we arrived. Also, our front and back doors don't lock, the dryer door is broken, the apartment is out of key fobs (?) so we can't access any of the amenities, we can't get into the package room (I need my new coffee maker!), other residents are smoking indoors, and the apartment wasn't clean at move in (including mouse droppings). To top it a off there is rotting pumpkin dripping brown goo onto our stuff on our porch. I was hoping for the best with this move and we've made a huge mistake."

"The cost of living is ridiculous. 9/10 the staff won’t answer the phone. Maintenance requests are barely handled or you have to wait months for repair or any issue to be resolved. Appliance’s are completely outdated and break repetitively. The carpets are worn down and gross. It’ll take a year before you get a cleaning that’s offered in your yearly lease. Expect your rent to go up each year. Ours went up almost $500 on a year lease not month to month. The cabinets have really bad wear and tear. If you lose your pool pass that’ll cost you $50 for a rubber bracelet. The pet fee doesn’t contribute to security deposit for any damages. The doors are hallow and breakdown easily over time. The caulking around the windows are cracked when you first move in and they won’t fix it. Overall, this place will charge you for every penny you got but won’t hold up their deal at their end of the bargain."

"This place is beautiful when you come in the front entrance. All you see is landscapes of Stone and the beautiful apartments very breathtaking. The apartments on the inside are very clean and well maintained. I have a son who just moved into this complex. And he's very happy with it. Wow! Just wow!"

"We moved to Summit Place a couple weeks ago and so far we are very happy with the complex. The office staff, Krista and Debbie are wonderful along with the maintenance team. We sent our apartment condition sheet to the office and they were here correcting what ever problems we had (not we had many). We are very pleased with our move here."
