"The complex itself is old, outdated, and should be condemned. our first week here we washed a couple blankets, and someone stole all of them out of the dryer. It's a questionable place especially at night, my wife and I never felt safe. So much strange people here that have no respect for others. I left my trunk open for 1 minute to bring groceries in and somebody stole bottles of wine and steaks. The structure of the apartment is trash, even with us having a newly renovated unit. You can hear full conversations through the walls. The walls are so thin we could hear our neighbor snoring at night amongst doing other bedroom activities. Tons of mice on the property especially by the overflowing dumpsters. One year into living here they increased our rent $400. After year 2, we tried to break our lease 4 months early, but we would have had to pay $7500 in fees."

"Their new employees are rude they close earlier than they are supposed to and they do not open on time. They have new employees who are very lazy special the Big White Guy he is very rude and lazy I came to pick up my package before closing time he refused to give me my package it was still during business hours. He had the nerve to tell me that they were closed and I had to come back tomorrow for my package he could grab in 1 second and it was 5:30 pm mind you they close at 6 pm it was not even a holiday. They were sitting on their phone while I had to beg for my package. Which I have videos and pictures about Not to mention Half of their machine are broken at the gym they never have any wipes. Police are always there this place is not safe. You got neighbors stealing your groceries. Please find somewhere else to live this is not a good place to live."

"It's not a good place to live at all!!! there's always something going on here, I always saw fights, police, and trashy people loitering in the parking lots. The property is old and in dire need of a remodel. If your heat or ac stops working they'll take weeks to fix it! Pest control and mold rehabilitation trucks are always found in the parking lot."

"The worst experience in my entire life. Rats with the size of small dogs, neighbors feeding rats, infested of mice and roaches all over the place. Neighbors with 6 or more cars parking inside of the parking lot all without permits. The tow truck call the owners if he knows them to tell them to move the cars. Office send 20 emails a day for nothing, advising of “this will happen if you do that” NOTHING HAPPENS. BBQs every where (BTW this is prohibited) cleaning is horrible. My neighbor used to sell food outside in a tent (nasty) I don’t even know how the people can buy her food. Public areas are the worst, forgotten areas should be the name, infested too. The pool area is “acceptable”. Don’t live here, ruuuuun. Looking to move out ASAP."

"So I applied to Gardencrest apartments in May of 2023, I put down a 200 dollar deposit for an application fee. Gardencrest stated I would be refunded if they weren't able to secure the apartment. They wasn't able to secure the apartment. They repeatedly told me the check is in the mail. I've yet to receive my 200 dollar deposit. Now it's October 16th of 2023 and they told me again the check is in the mail. I would advise anyone dealing with Gardencrest Apartments, Don't they are dishonest and corrupt, they don't answer phones or give you straight answers, I would not rent from them. 5 months later I'm still fighting to get my monies owed to me.
