Mission Springs Housing

"I have lived here at Mission Springs 1 year this month. I am so grateful to be living here. I love being so close to the Fatima Shrine and walking across the street to church. I love driving into Mission Springs and seeing the big beautiful lawn. I am a simpler person as I get older. Don't need all the fancy shmancy. The hallways on each floor are decorated for every season. No politically correct baloney. The apartments could definitely use a little updating in kitchen and bathroom. Old fixtures. But overall I have made my place clean and cozy. I love bright colors. I feel safe here. My Dad lives in Federal Housing. They have no activities or decorations. I wish he was here. He is a strong 95 year old. Loves bingo, playing cards, golfing, very independent. I love all the sitting areas available. Laundry room on each floor and trash shoot. Library, function room. Social services at your convenience with a wonderful social worker and organized all the activities. There is a very creative craft person that I haven't met yet. She puts a lot of effort into making everyone feel cheery. Available transportation and monthly newsletters. I met some beautiful people here. I had a deep sense for a long time that God was going to plant me here to bloom for him. Happy New Year to all at Mission Springs. 2023 will need much prayer especially for all the children growing up . They are so important and need to hold on to their innocence and be able to play outdoors safely. Please pray for them. ❤️"

"This place has been around for 25 years and only has 5 reviews not including this one. All good and no bad? That should tell you something. As the saying goes, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all". Living in this building is like being back in high school. There is a clique of certain individuals that sit around in public areas and talk behind peoples back, and in some cases, in ear shot so the subject can hear them. People with nothing better to do with their dying days other than to make themselves feel better by disparaging others. I'm sure this is happening in all other buildings like Mission Springs. It's pretty sad that some of the elderly have to endure this kind of abuse from day to day, and fear leaving their unit just so they don't have to deal with the disrespectful behavior of a certain group that make living here unbearable. I believe this group knows who they are and want to let you know you ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Management is well aware of some instances that has been brought to their attention and has not addressed the situation. In any case, not sure how they can make people behave civilized towards one another. Most of the residents of Mission Springs are respectful of one another, and at times do help one another out when needed. If considering moving to Mission Springs, just beware of the "Bad Apples""
