Reviews of Princeton Properties
"From a 3 year renting perspective: If you want to live like you're a cog in a well-oiled machine, live at Princeton! I can testify for their ability to invoke that familiar emotional experience of being helpless and having no way to solve it, but now in the former privacy of your own home, multiple times throughout the year! If they urgently need to contact you, they even try calling one whole time, can't ask for more than that! What innovation, what efficiency!"
"I rented from them in Nashua. I went to the rental office multiple times to ask for help getting out of the lease because I was in an extremely abusive situation. They essentially said tough luck! That entire year was a NIGHTMARE. Zero compassion for other human beings...Kelly was very rude and cold in all of our emails highlighting parts of my lease to outline why I couldn't leave, even after my lease was up, if my ex chose to stay. She's evil and heartless. I did end up leaving. I spoke to lawyers about it, and they said it was all scare tactics. That's how Princeton Properties treats tenants."
"The issues we have had while living here have been many: 1- MAINTENCE: The AC in our unit broke-just stopped working. They came to look at it and said that a part had to be ordered. I never got an update so had to call to receive one and once I did hear back I was told it would be two weeks before the AC would be fixed-due to the part needing to be shipped from the vendor. It is mid-August and very hot and humid-I work from home, I don't understand why it would take so long to get a part-it is just a compressor for an AC unit. They didn't want to pay the money to have the part shipped overnight from the vendor. The fact that is has been 80 degrees in my apartment isn't acceptable and they don't seem to care or really respect that I am a good tenant who pays their rent every month on time and now has to live in a sauna. I was told nothing could be done to compensate me for the fact that my unit hasn't been maintained and has a non-working AC in the middle of August. I will be contacting the corporate office to speak further about getting something done-I don't pay a ridiculous rent to live in a sauna. 2-SAFETY: We had kids breaking into the building and smoking in the hallways at night. We were told that they couldn't do anything about it. This went on for weeks and my fiancé finally confronted the kids who were smoking in the hallway and told them not to come back. The management didn't seem to care that this was occurring. 3-PARKING/SAFETY: We had to pay for an extra parking spot-which we did and still have had issues with people parking in our spaces. There is parking at your own risk on the street-which is open to the complex next to the building as well. A bus or large work van parks there which blocks the entrance from the complex so you can't even see pulling into or out of the small lot. There has been accidents due to this and nothing has been done to remedy the situation."
"When i say This company has no care for its tenants, PLEASE believe me! I have lived in different places and never felt so done wrong like by Princeton Properties. From the beginning, I was super excited to come to lowell, I who have always lived in greater Boston, it would be a nice change. One year in, I wish I never renewed my lease!! Reasons: - This company will find absolutely ANY way to get your money in the most absurd and I would even say suspicious ways. Ex: because one missing signature in document I wasn’t aware (since they rushed me to sign a document online which turned into me under looking a page), they charged us 500 DOLLARS. For ONE SIGNATURE. Now, did they give any headsup? No. But are veryyyy quick to take the money and will harass you to the end. - They ARE NOT SUPPORTIVE OF DISABILITIES. I had loss and triggered emotional issues, and was recc. An emotional animal for support. They have ever since absolutely HARASSED ME every single week regarding my dog. - They will not take problems and matter to hand. I have had a family of 5 living above me (Which hilariously they weren’t aware) waking me up 7 days a week with kids playing from 10 pm to 5 am (yes that is crazy) for 13 months. Called me crazy when I complained and said I was lying, until I confronted the neighbors. Said they werent aware of the kids, but yet never apologized for not taking my word as true. The issue still continues - Towed several cars (they run a gimmicky with a towing company), and gave again no previous notice. It could have been avoided Bottom line, they are no care for the people who live In there. They will take your money at all costs. These are just a few of the issues I had. More to come."
"Princeton Properties is truly a professional and and well run property and management firm. Their employee-focused philosophy is evident and consistently results in great customer service at the site and corporate level. Their properties are always very well maintained and in optimal locations."
