Reviews of 92 on North Main
"Apartments are large and very nice. However they are not carpeted so if you are not on the top floor you will hear your neighbors vaccuming and or screaming at each other, playing loud music etc. There are also people that steal packages."
"Unorganized management and damage in storage! Sorry for the long post! I honestly loved living in this apartment. The units are open concept and spacious. Large bedrooms and bathrooms. I never really heard our neighbors either. I gave this 2 stars because of this and because maintenance was awesome. Otherwise I'd give it zero if I could. If I could rate maintenance on their own, they would get 5 stars! That said, I wouldn't recommend this place due to how it is run. We were sent another persons paper work after moving out. They are very difficult to get a hold of and they never seem to be in the office. Seems that email is the only option to reach someone, and they seem annoyed in their responses. I understand they may be showing apartments, but it seemed to be every time I went to ask them something, or when I tried to call. We were happy that a play ground was going in (we moved in prior to that). The 'playground' turned out to be two separate areas one for toddlers and one for older kids. The toddler section was a slide and a swing set. My daughter (2 at the time) grew very bored, rather quickly. The dogs have a nicer play area beside building A! The thing that upset me the most was the first floor storage. We paid extra each month to use a small storage room. I guess a pipe broke in the empty unit next to ours, and they never thought to inform us. My husband had told them that the room seemed humid, but got no response. We didn't know there was a leak until we started to move stuff out to our new house. Because of the humidity and added moisture from the leak, most of the stuff in our unit was COVERED in mold. We lost a lot of stuff that was stored there (infant car seat we were saving, stroller, 4 dining room chairs, and a bunch of other small furniture pieces that we were holding onto for our house). We estimate over $2000 in damages, and paid $300 to get it hauled away. They wouldn't help us out, and we felt we were being brushed off. We basically paid more each month, only to have to pay to throw out most of the stuff we were storing! Not cool! EDIT TO ADD: Also, it's 'interesting' that some of the 5 star reviewers just happened to have reviewed this place, and whatever 94 N Main is. Obviously employees adding 5 stars to up ratings. One more star lost by me!"
"Worst experience I've ever had. Unprofessional and unorganized. Methods of communication terrible. Despite me and my roommate being racially profiled when we went for our first tour we decided to give them a chance. The property is really nice and the apartments were spacious. The community seemed peaceful and the neighbors were kind. The property's lackluster managerial structure will ultimately be the downfall. I would not recommend this place to anyone, sadly."
"So disheartened to have to write this, as I am now validating the previous review of unprofessional, biased (racially) and down right unaccomodating behaviors from the leasing agent at this location. To the property manager and or owner of 92 North Main, please reassess the caliber of talent that you have attempting to lease your apartments. You will never be successful with people representing your property in such a fashion. The agent today was completely disengaged, as I waited approximately 10 minutes for her to even acknowledge the fact that I’m standing in the office, waiting to be spoken to. Once noticed she stated “Oh, Hi” (filled with notes of frustration and annoyance, as if she wondered why I was here to bother her; as she’s so busy fumbling with papers on her desk.). Ridiculous. When I expressed my interest in apartment homes, the agent then proceeded to tell me what she did NOT have. Again - your job is to sell and lease apartments, correct? After redirecting the agent (seeing that she did not wish to ask any exploratory questions to uncover my needs) - I gave her more insight, inclusive of a timeline and some additional perspective on what I am looking for. Unfortunately, that didn’t help her either - as she then proceeds to tell me that there is now a “wait list” but I can fill out an application then see what we have later. (sounds like she’s now trying to pre-screen me before she exhaust any energy into my interest right?) Ridiculous again! #1 - How do you even know that I’d want to lease with you, as you’ve shared NOTHING with me about your property; nor have you even attempted to provide a tour. #2 - When I asked for a tour - your leasing agent also proceeded to tell me what she DIDNT have to show.... at this point, all interest in leasing with 92 at north main is now out the window. The moral of the story is this..... Your leasing agents responsibility is to SELL THE PROPERTY AND LEASE APARTMENT HOMES!!! Stop talking about what you can’t do, stop being lazy, stop being judgmental and provide SOLUTIONS to potential residents looking to call your place home. Also - don’t antagonize people either. As I proceeded to walk out of the office, the leasing agent proceeded to follow me out of the office, bickering about what she is “trying to do” That type of behavior, with the wrong individual could have totally resulted in an expolsive interaction. Luckily, I have more to lose than the leasing agent does. (I do more than shuffle papers on a desk all day, while half assed doing my job) With her following me out of the office, I surely wish she had that level of urgency when I was standing in the office for 10 minutes, staring into space! Do. Better. Or 92 north main will not make it. New residents - beware. I personally would never lease from these types of people!"
"I went yesterday to see if I could get a tour of one of the apartments. There were 3 ladies working the office. The lady that ended up assisting us walked over to us and said “just so you don’t waste your time these are our income requirements” mind you all we did was walk in and ask to view an apartment. After she explained the income requirements she asked if we were still interested and I said yes. The apartment was beautiful, obviously these are brand new units. When we went back downstairs she proceeded AGAIN to go over income BEFORE handing me the application. When she finally handed over the application she proceeded to ask what I do for a living and if I had other sources of income. I left there feeling obviously VERY JUDGED based off my appearance and skin color! I went in with a sweatshirt, jeans and flip flops...didn’t know that was inappropriate for viewing an apartment. So clearly it was that or the fact that we were colored and she ASSUMED our income for us, or in her case, judge our “lack” of income. They need to be more open minded or hire all new staff because that was disgusting and no one should have to experience that. For the record I have two successful online businesses and also work a part time job occasionally because I’ve been there for years and remain loyal to them. You work a 9-5 desk job lady, and I’m more than certain my income is greater than yours."
