Stratton Hill Park Apartments

"1/27/23 Just filed a complaint with the ADA against staff at Stratton Hill Park: Stratton Hill Park staff are discriminating against people with disabilities that live in the apartments. We have a lot of people with disabilities that live here and they are making it difficult to get around between parking lots and their apartments. They refuse to put in the number of handicapped spots we need to accommodate people for needed access. And people who don’t live on the premises are taking up the spots we do have access to. For example, putting handicapped parking at the end of the parking lot after spaces for people who have no need for an accommodation. Then people who need an accommodation they put their access near the opposite end of the lot away from the entrance to the building. These people’s doctors are putting in requests for these people to have close access to the building and they are doing the opposite. I have a handicapped placard with no access to a handicapped parking space where I live in a federally funded property. Shame on these people. This was written last year 2023: I've lived here 26 years and the people they've let in here in the past year or two have really made this place a very unenjoyable place to live. I've had packages stolen, no parking spaces for handicapped people, you can't even trust for someone to leave your food in the lobby, like Doordash. Or Uber. This is a big apartment building and people are too lazy to get out of their cars so they beep their horn repeatedly at all hours of the night. Plus play loud music coming and going. There's a guy with a motorcycle that runs his bike in the parking lot and drives up and down the driveway repeatedly, d the police are here a lot. People get drunk and fight in the hallway. I can't wait to move but I want a better place, not worse one but this place keeps going downhill cause of the people they've let in. And are letting in."

"We absolutely love living at Stratton Hill Park. We couldn't ask more out of a home or of a home community. The grounds and buildings are kept immaculate at all times. And safety at Stratton Hill is top notch. Staff is super friendly and always willing to help if ever needed. We hope to be living at Stratton Hill for a long time to come. Edit: wrote this review a couple years back and still feel the same way about living here. Still kept clean inside and out. Relatively quiet considering it is an apartment building. Going to have some sort of noise outside unless you live in the woods. Any issues are taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. Feel very safe here and would still highly recommend!"

"Worst place to live literally the worst place you get no type of privacy what so ever management walks in your apartment when they feel like it your not allowed to have any type of candle you can’t have no type of product that smells good because they accuse you of smoking lol this place is a complete joke it’s more of a prison than a place to live your not even allowed to yo have a a fish like what type of place is This sheesh great brook valley is more please to live in then this hell hole………"

"I have been living here for three years and enjoy it. I have found that the management here is helpful when something arises. They offer different activities for the community here. I find that it is clean and well kept, both inside and with the lawn. I appreciate the decorations they put up during different holidays, it really gives it a home vibe. There are occasional hiccups like broken dryers or an occasional resident that is disruptive, but no place is perfect and it’s not consistent. If it is ever an ongoing issue then they address it as soon as they can. I feel as though they go above and beyond for the residents and it doesn’t go unnoticed! Thank you Stratton Hill Team."

"I have lived here for 42 years, in 3 different apartments, according to my needs at the time. I’ve been extremely happy. Any maintenance issues have always been addressed promptly, and professionally. The maintenance staff is wonderful. The Management and Recreation Staff are fabulous. Any problems or concerns have always been addressed promptly with me. They are very professional and helpful, and also take the time to listen and get to know you."
