"Please do not make the mistake of using Morin Real Estate. My parents recently sold their house with Morin. It was a disaster!!! It was hard to tell if their agent, Terry, was incompetent or shady. She made so many mistakes. I promise you that you would do better on your own than having her assist you in buying or selling. The sale of my parents house ended with about $25,000 of their money being tied up in an escrow account, which they will never see. Terry encouraged my parents not to use a lawyer at closing, because she could handle it. She scared my parents into moving faster than they felt comfortable with. She made promises to the buyers via email behind my parents back, without them being aware these promises were being made. As for the house they bought, this was just as bad. She strongly encouraged a home inspector she knew well, who did a horrible job. Since moving into their home, they have found out that their chimney needs to be replaced and that their bathroom floor was badly water damaged with peel and stick tiles placed over the floor rot. This has been such a bad experience. I strongly recommend that you do not use this company. Terry took advantage of my parents and their lack of knowledge when it came to real estate. They hired her to help them and she was only looking out for herself. She got paid and she made sure that happened. You have so much to lose when you are buying or selling, please do not let Terry be the reason you lose your money."
