"Just before Christmas I went to the Hyannis Mall and was invited into the store. My hands were given a treatment with a salt scrub-very nice. Then I was encouraged to buy a basket of a variety of scrubs and hand cream. I said not interested but I was badgered into buying it for my wife. Then next eye cream another $250 dollars. My wife had no use for any of it, I brought it back and after a long argument the sales people would not take the stuff back but finally agreed to take only the eye cream back and she stapled a $200 credit on her business card. I was told my wife could get a facial with it. We set a date and time. She set up an appointment for today and was told the $200 would pay for a consult. She was not interested in a consult-she expected a facial. The sales person badgered her awhile. Wanting to get something for the 200 credit the only thing that interested was some eye cream But it would be another 100 dollars! She came home very upset. Be careful they are very good con-artist."

I see Maria for hair and she always does exactly what I want for my blonde color and make such great recommendations on my hair cut. I am always so happy with it when I leave there! I've seen Emily for makeup and nail services and she has to be one of the most talented makeup professionals on the Island. Not only is she a joy to be around but she clearly enjoys her craft. "I have not once ever written a review on google. But I find it important to. I was on vacation in Edgartown this past week and wanted to get my nails done. It was super easy scheduling an appointment, I got in the next day. Place is super clean super nice and modern, but I was not happy with the out come of my nails ESPECIALLY for $100. I asked for a pretty simple design (I thought) but the nail tech said she would try to do it. I would’ve appreciated more her being honest and saying she couldn’t due it, rather her not doing the design right at all. When I got to picking out the colors, i always do gel, but she told me that I had to do regular polish. Whatever. Not a big deal. (She had also whispered something under her breathe talking about my friend). She starts putting on the first color and both hands already look completely different from each other and different from my reference photo. With each color it gets worse. At this point I was just like whatever. All is said and done and she said it was $100. For not even doing the design right??? (I wasn’t paying for them so I was like wow but still of course payed and left a 20% rip as the tech requested.) I left really upset w my nails but they were done. And I could always get them repainted. Then I’m less than 23 hours 3 nails have already broke. I’m not doing extreme work or anything. One nail broke while I was folding my laundry smh. And don’t get me wrong, there were a lot of nice people doing other peoples nails in the room and if made the 1 1/2 I was there (longest ever) go by quicker. One nail tech (forget name but started w j who did my friends pedicure was so nice. But really $100 for terrible nails? I say take your business elsewhere when looking for a manicure."
