"I love getting my hair done here! It’s very welcoming and you instantly feel comfortable when you walk inside. Everyone is really friendly and knowledgeable. Not only will they listen to what you want but they will also educate you on how to take care of your hair once you leave. Along with hair styling they also have a manicure/pedicure area and offer other beauty services. Highly recommend!"

"Erin is the best! I am a hair stylist and colorist that used to work at the Hair Coop when it was the Hair Cafe. My hair is very thick and almost always long. I am very particular with my hair and Erin was the only one I trusted with my cut and color. I have lived in NYC for 5 years now and I miss her dearly. I work at a high end salon here and have tried several different people that I work with and no body can get my hair right like she does. The salon I work in would charge over $500 to do my hair if I had to pay but I can get it done for free since I’m an employee. I choose to wait and go to Erin to get my hair done when I visit!! Sometimes my roots are a couple of inches and my coworkers make snarky comments but I don’t care. I know my hair will look it’s best when she does it. Thank you Erin for taking great care of my hair for the last 15 years."

"Kathy has been my one and only hair stylist for over twenty years. My family has also used her and I have recommended this salon to any of my friends looking for someone new. I love this salon but I'm confused as to how people can post negative comments as " google user", why are they hiding their identity ??? I would also use any of the other ladies if Kathy was unavailable. If you feel your experience was not a good one then be able to post what happened to you but having your friends post negative reviews to support your cause is not how reviews should be handled."

"I have always had a great experience with Hair Coop. Kathy does my hair. Awesome job on color and highlights. I have long hair that requires a lot to style. I will always stay this salon. I would gladly have the other stylists blow dry too. The shop is friendly, clean and professional. They have a nail tech available as well. Don't believe one negative ranter."
