"One-star for the convenient location, that's about it. Place wreaks of second-hand smoke, really needs an extensive decluttering, and major cleaning. Can overlook the rude staff and clutter, but then leaving smelling like second hand smoke is just plain unacceptable and terribly inconsiderate of customers."
"I’ve never left a Google review before but I feel like I should warn people not to come to this salon… the stylist gave me crazy uneven layers and then charged me $90… literally the ends of my hair over my shoulders were longer on the right side than the left. She also barely used any leave-in or heat protectant and it felt like she was tugging my hair out when blow drying. I had to make two other appointments at different salons to fix this total hack job… but the layers were so severe that my hair is still uneven just more feathered and it’s so much shorter than I ever wanted. I never had a traumatizing haircut in my life until now, lesson learned - if you call and they have completely open availability for you to come in whenever it’s a bad sign!! RIP to my hair and money"
"I bought a Groupon for a Brazilian blowout and cut for $100. I’m a grad student and turning 30 and wanted to treat myself. I called and spoke with Eric, who seemed very flustered when scheduling the appointment. He shared that he usually didn’t do this but the girl who did wasn’t available. He shared that he was super booked but could pencil me in for 9 on Tuesday. I pencilled the appointment in my calendar for 9pm on Tuesday and went about my life. There was no confirmation call or email. The day of the appointment came and Eric called me at 9:05am asking if I was on my way. It turns out that we had had a misunderstanding about whether the appointment was in the morning or evening. I certainly think I should have clarified but I also think the salon should have disclosed. Everyone is living incredibly hectic and busy lives and if this is your business why wouldn’t you provide your clients with the information they need to successfully access the services they paid for. Why not have an appointment confirmation system or simply call clients before their appointment to confirm? Why not have the person who is experienced with booking appointments do their job? And finally, why not acknowledge the miscommunication and allow your client to reschedule without charging them another $100? Honestly, we are all living through one of the most horrific times in a century. I was so disappointed with the lack of compassion and accountability from Eric. I’m sure he’s a great hairdresser. Just wish he had been more professional, and honestly, more compassionate. Anyways, you can probably find a better hair salon with better customer service."
"I called to reschedule my appointment and their manager Lina was very rude. She yelled and interrupted me throughout the entire conversation. She picked up the phone saying - “Hey, what do you want?! We are closed today and I am doing you a favor by answering the phone”. I am going to cancel my appointment simply because of that experience."
