"For my first day back at work in the new year I thought I'd treat myself to having someone else take care of trimming/shaping/polishing my nails. Nothing fancy, just a basic manicure with standard nail polish. Maria was really good at that, and was kind enough to use the nail polish color I brought with me from home, which I appreciated. It was a very relaxing experience and I'm glad for that. I've got one bloody cuticle, though, and the polish seems to have been spread all the way up onto the skin on both sides of several nails."
