"I have been a client at Stephen & Co for around 10 years and I cant say how professional, friendly, fun, caring and talented this place is. I am mainly a client of Julie's and I love the time she takes to talk to me about what I want from my appointment. She makes suggestions and always delivers beyond my expectations. I get lots of compliments on my hair. Julie is super talented with her vision and ability to execute. And sometimes, when Julie is on vacation or for last minute appointments, I see other stylists for blow outs and colors and I have always been impressed with those experiences as well. I get excited when it's time for my appointment. It is a total experience. I have fun shopping the boutique area out front, talking and socializing while I'm in the chair, getting a head massage during the shampoo and best of all I always walk out feeling and looking my best. I love this place."

"I’m writing this for anyone that has long hair and wants to maintain their long hair. DO NOT go to Julie At Steven’s Co, she will take less then 20 minutes to chop off 2 years of hard work within growth that was not easy to grow. I explained to her that I am battling hard water and doing everything to maintain the length and that I need help. I made it clear (what I thought) that it took to me very long to get it to this length. After telling her what I wanted to do with my hair for the wedding I have coming up in September (long loose down long curl waves) she then proceeded to cut off 6+ inches of hair that was very hard to protect and grow. She did not listen to one thing I said rather used me as her own therapy session. She was Talking about how hard of a year she’s had right after I told her someone very close and important to me just passed away a few days ago. I am writing this out of a warning of anyone with hair past your shoulders as she would say “let’s give you a more adult haircut” this is not what I was coming in for at all. Her “30years experience” is useless if she doesn’t listen to her clients. I have not had my hair cut at a hair salon in over a year, I was trimming it on my own to maintain it but decided to treat myself to an appointment by someone else (I wish I could go back in time). After the damage was done, I look around at all of the other clients and realized they are older women and older men (ages 50+) with short bob hair cuts I realize that I do not fit her clientele and I should have never scheduled this hair cut nor should she have accepted it. I will not be returning to Steven’s Co in anyway shape or form. I don’t even recognize myself, I am heartbroken."
