"I had an awesome experience here! I’ve been twice now and Kathy and her team are efficient and friendly. I removed my upart wig install, got a wash, and new upart install (braids and sew down plus curls) and my hair was flawless. "It is so problematic to give a good review because this place is going to get busier now! Lol! First of all, Salon Hairapy is accommodating. I go on Fridays and sometimes I have called and begged to be fit in and they have said yes. I am happy to wait because let’s be real… We Black people only have so many options and the stylist here do all types of hairs and provide all kinds of services. Second, they know what they are doing. The owner, Kathy, will tell you about scalp, health, hair health and more. I have watched the stylist do natural hair, tighten locks, do braids, add extensions. Third, I had long hair (see profile pic) and I did something wrong (probably a keratin treatment I got in NYC) and had to cut ALL my natural hair off. So I am nervous about getting a silk press or doing anything that is going to damage my hair. But I come here for one and my natural hair bounces right back up. Water hits it and curls right up - meaning my hair is HEALTHY. Kathy is not burning my hair. Plus she speaks Creole. That’s just a bonus for me! I can’t say enough about Salon Hairapy. Except don’t try to take my slot. #LongHairDontCare #Consistency"
