"Let me tell you a story-that ends well- thanks to the AMAZING TALENT of Kyle. Kyle had been my hair syylist for quite a awhile when he had his business in Somerset. My husband and friends always complimented me on how great my hair looked. When Kyle moved his business to Providence, I made the HUGE mistake of thinking I could get the same results locally. I've heard it said that people are replaceable-this may be true for many people but NOT KYLE!!! You may find someone that is a great colorist, a great stylist, a great cutter of hair but Kyle is ALL THREE and my friends, this is NOT , I repeat NOT easily replaceable. I went through 4 hairstylist. Yes. Four. All very nice, all maybe ok with doing one thing-NONE being able to do all 3 with the KNOWLEDGE, EXPERTISE, and COMPETENCY that this man possesses. I have short, fine hair that's colored and really not tricky to work with for sure. I thought it wouldn't be hard to find someone after Kyle left town. I was really, really, really wrong. I came home from hairdresser #1 with a "helmet" cut so bad my husband jokingly said I look like kazoo from the Flintstones, the next hairstylist actually gave me the brush at the end of the appointment and told me to tweak it just the way I wanted to and she would spray it when I was done, the third hairstylist made me look like I went through a high velocity wind tunnel when I said I'd like to have it cut and styled a little "choppy" looking, and the 4th hair stylist damaged my hair with chemicals and heat so badly that I bought baseball caps to hide it. These were all high end, reputable businesses. Please don't put yourself through what I went through. If you had Kyle and didn't follow him to Providence, don't be afraid to reach back out to him to start seeing him again. If you a looking for a stylist to go to, I highly recommend Kyle as THE person. I will NEVER, EVER go to anyone else again-I actually cried tears of happiness when he was finished with my hair appointment. His is truly a genius. THANK YOU a million times over for making me feel beautiful again!"

"Welcomed warmly when I walked in. Inviting waiting space is comfortable and accommodating. My stylist was a proprietor and owner at the salon and and very talented. Everyone working in the space seemed to enjoy their work and their clients as well. Looking forward to going back. What. Very nice energy!"

"From start to finish, a wonderful experience. We were greeted by Zachary upon coming in - and he is so nice! We were seated to wait and offered coffee or water. We were taken upstairs to the coloring area a few minutes early, which was nice. The overall vibe is very friendly and laid back. It is very clean and professional. I visited for a cut and color for my daughter - and felt confident through the entire process. Her stylist was Karissa and she was great to talk to and very knowledgeable. The only tiny complaint I would have is that there is only street parking, but we are in Providence after all! I would strongly recommend Christiaan Salon to anyone that wants their hair done beautifully in a professional environment! 5 stars!!!"
