"They rarely ever answer the phone. I've sat on hold for 45 minutes or longer multiple times. I actually drove to the pharmacy while still on hold, waited in a long line, and was still on hold when I got up to the desk, and showed them that I had been on hold for well over an hour at that point. The app is terrible, it's never updated. When my prescriptions are sent to them, I am not notified at all, no new prescriptions show up on the app. Also they are very often out of very basic, uncontrolled substances. There is literally no way to get in contact with them unless you drive to the store yourself just to speak to them, without a guarantee that they'll even have the medication that you just drove there for! This all could be solved if they either actually picked up the phone or updated prescriptions on the app. Awful."

"Update: none of this has gotten better. They keep sending surveys that just bring me back to this same post! Can’t add a new one, and they haven’t even attempted to fix anything!! Why keep asking if you aren’t going to do anything about it?! Below is my running rating, hasn’t changed since I originally posted it months ago. They’re still awful! Horrible, wouldn’t use them if I had another choice! I had to jump through hoops to get my medications straight when I switched to them because I needed a specific brand because the others have weird side effects, after a lot of back and forth with my Dr and insurance, but they approved it and then CVS says they can’t guarantee they can get it! So even though my dr and insurance decided it was medically necessary, CVS gets to deny me?! Absolutely ridiculous! I’m sure not many people need specific brands so why they can’t make sure I get the correct ones over other people is baffling. ALSO DRIVE THRU is horrible!! Takes twice as long as it would to go in and once you pull in to the drive thru, you’re stuck and can’t get out. Although inside isn’t usually much better. Calling there is a joke, plan to be on hold for 15mins before you get a person. I started this post months ago and cvs just prompted me back to it, and it hasn’t gotten better!"
