"Exceptional food at this cute restaurant by the sea in Swampscott. Chef and owner Don was a delight to talk to, and service was great. The flavor profile is very unique and we enjoyed every dish. The drinks were also well crafted and delicious."
"I’ve had the pleasure to dine here with a few friends this past weekend and it was truly superb. Everything from the friendship bartender, attentive wait staff, to hospitable chef who stopped by our table to introduce himself, felt like a delight and a rarity in today’s dining experiences. Our group had a sleuth of things (back ribs, beef noodles, and broccoli were standouts) in the menu that was executed to perfection. I can’t recommend this place enough to support our Main St businesses and am so happy to have this great place in the neighborhood!"
"This place is AMAING!!!! All of the shared plates we tried were all very good. Especially the ribs. Chef Don is passionate and it shows. I also had the “crimes of passion” cocktail and wow, amazing."
"I brought my friend here and we ordered four dishes; three were hits and one was a miss. The Swedish meatballs were good. The Kanom Gui Chai were not what I expected for a rice cake dish, but were delicious. Our favorite dish was the "Flying Jacob Egg Rolls". The ingredients were such an odd, but intriguing combination which we had to try and weren't disappointed. I would order those alone! I brought a half to my daughter and she loved it. Get this while you can! The Viet Lemongrass Beef Noodles were the only disappointment. They came out last, there wasn't a serving utensil, but tongs would have been great for this dish, as the noodles were very slippery and difficult to serve. The beef was a bit grisly and the dish wasn't as flavorful as we expected. I had a Siamese Gin and Tonic which was absolutely delicious and refreshing. If they make a non-alcoholic version, I'm sure it won't disappoint either. Service was slightly off this time, they didn't box up the noodle dish and tossed it (I presume). We were catching up, so that was ok, but we did have to request the check. (In fairness, several large tables arrived in a short time period and we weren't rushing.) I'll continue to return and think we are lucky to have this restaurant in our town."
"I’d give this spot a solid 3.9, the food was good though maybe not what you’d expect - less fusion more an array of Nordic/Swedish courses on one side of the menu and Asian dishes on the other. Served tapas style, you can get a bit of everything but they aren’t really “fused” together themselves. The drinks were delicious, just wish we got more full of a glass across the board for the price. On the topic of cost, the food was much more worth it, especially with the size of the plates served. We loved the ribs and “KFC” most, but would definitely go back with a group to try more!"
