Poke City

"This is my second time eating here and my last. While ordering I forgot to mention not to put the ginger sauce. I understand the cost of food and waste and I don’t know the process if a customer makes a mistake. I was told she can not make me a new bowl then she proceeded to removed the items that had sauce on them over the trash barrel located in the side of the counter. I was so disgusted and disappointed. She said she would replenish what was thrown away but then told me it would be extra. I felt uncomfortable eating because it was such an unsanitary situation. Both the ladies were unfriendly, the one that wasn’t handling my food was more rude. I truly just wanted to leave but I payed for the food and left."

"I ordered takeout. The amount of protein they give you is laughable. I ordered a bowl with “two proteins” and there were exactly three 1/2 in cubes of salmon and maybe 6-7 of tuna that I paid an extra $1.50 for. Basically paid $20 for a bowl of zucchini noodles with a few bites of other stuff. “Medium” sauce means “drowning” in it, and there was a lake of water at the bottom too. Disgusting."

"Gave it three stars because the flavor was good but I’m paying $36 for a bowl and I didn’t like that the amount of salmon was almost nonexistent. There were about 5-7 pieces of salmon like the size or smaller than the picture below. Unacceptable. Won’t be ordering here again."

"Okay poke bowl, fast and friendly service, moderate prices. Overall, it is an okay value for your money. I really wanted to like it more because two friends recommended it enthusiastically. I had the Poke City special and was a bit disappointed with the sushi rice base. Many people overlook the base, but it is literally the basis for a great poke bowl. Perhaps it was late in the day (8PM), but the rice was too dry. Quantity is okay for the price, taking into account you get three proteins in the special poke, but I could have eaten a bit more. Nothing was particularly good or bad, as I said, it's okay."
