"Paid this place a visit twice, both times on a weekend. On both occasions (once when the restaurant was filled and once when nearly empty) the service was exceptional. The hosts and servers were all attentive, quick, and friendly. I also witnessed staff being patient and helpful with other diners. The food was unfortunately nothing to write home about; I found that the sushi, especially for its price, had an incredibly meager fish-to-rice/other ingredient ratio. This was most noticeable during my second visit, and as a diehard salmon lover, had me feeling pretty down about the meal. The sukiyaki I had during my first visit was nice and filling, however, I can’t remember any complaints. Overall, two trips was enough for me, and I don’t see a need to go back. There’s no shortage of places in Boston to get more and better food for less."
"Very spacious restaurant. I came on a Sunday afternoon, and there weren't many people, so I was seated right away (I had a reservation, but I ended up not needing it). I originally came for the lunch specials but ended up getting the US Wagyu Beef Truffle Dashi because it's hard to pass on either wagyu or truffle. It came in an obnoxiously large bowl (not a huge [pun intended] deal, but it must be tiring to carry those out all day long). I wanted to like it, but the flavors were quite underwhelming, and the wagyu was just tossed in like hot pot, ruining its potential. I did not like the tuna volcano either because the fried sushi rice was too (texturally) hard to eat. The mango kiss martini was well balanced, though. I love sushi and udon, so I wish this place were better, but I don't plan on coming back. However, the lunch prices are nice, so this place is for you if you don't have high expectations and just want a quick, cheap bite."
"I honestly have a great experience with the atmosphere and the host. The host is very welcome. But our server seems to be a bit less active and slow responding, also I saw the host keep helping them cleaning and serving food as well. The food is also interesting, we ordered the udon and it came in a huge bowl. Like crazy huge but food is a bit so so, but great presentation. If you come here, you will definitely enjoyed the food presentation. Overall experience, I would recommend you to visit this restaurant. They have the all you can eat option with a super good price and great a la cart presentation. We just got bad experience on the service side but to the overall, I can say you will enjoy this restaurant."
"The selection for the buffet is amazing. I love the different tiers they have to determine how much more food you'd want to try. Definitely worth going back to try everything they have on the menus. Come for the sushi, stay for the Udon!"
