"It's gotta be the worst japanese food I've had in town in terms of quality and definitely not worth the high price. The seafood udon is simply pathetic - a few pieces of quick frozen fish cakes, wilted cabbage, and deep-fried temperas. No broth, just thick, bland undon in hot salty water. The sauce is also very obviously from store-bought bottles. Save yourself the time and money. You can get these frozen ingredients in grocery store and make it at home in 10min and it'll probably taste better. The place is run by chinese-speaking chefs and waiters."
"Really nice atmosphere I specifically asked for no shellfish in the dish I ordered however they served me with "imitation crab". When I asked if the "imitation crab" had been flavored with the real product, they did substitute the item. I did say I didn't eat shellfish due to an allergy."
"Best Japanese restaurant my wife and I have around Chestnut Hill. The place can be a bit hard to find if you're already inside the mall. It's located inside Bloomingdales. If you're inside the mall, then just enter blooming dales and hug the left side corner. You'll find the entrance to Daikanyama. They typically have a tarp out, showing the menu. I would highly recommend the Tempura. Any of them. Vegetable, shrimp, seafood tempura, all of them are great. They fry it to perfection. The only thing is that their tempura sauce tends to be on the bland and gingery side, but the overall taste blends well together. If you're on a budget, then make sure to head here for lunch as the lunch sets are, on average, $10 cheaper. There is an abundance of free, open-air parking around the mall complex, so you'll almost never run out of places to park. 5 stars, can't wait to go back."
"I am normally not fond of having food at a mall though this restaurant can be accessed both from the mall plus has its separate entrance and which allows them to be independent from mall hours. They have good quality sushi. The staff is friendly and the place is inviting. On weekend evenings, a reservation is recommended ."
