Friendly House of Pho

"First off, I want to say everyone was super friendly. We walked in and there were only two booths taken, but we decided to sit at the bar, which is where we usually sit. We ordered the spring rolls as an appetizer, and they were ok. Ordered a couple of drinks, and they were great. We ordered a medley of appetizers for our dinner along with a rice dish. Upon serving these dishes for our"dinner" we were not given plates, just our appetizer plates and a fork, no knife. Our rice tasted like smoke, the boneless ribs were VERY greasy, and the crab Rangoon filling was oozy? (Don’t know how else to describe them) The atmosphere behind the bar was bizarre. One of the girls kept rearranging the toothpick holder, the orange juice, everything. I could tell she was new and I'm not bashing her because she was very nice. Also, another server was wearing a Grey sweatshirt and black sweatpants? I'm not sure, maybe they'll get better, but I'm not impressed at all."

"I placed my first delivery order tonight and WOW! My order arrived fantastically packaged and everything was super high quality and tasty. Totally exceeded my expectations and will certainly be ordering again. I am feeling under the weather and the chicken soup bowl that I ordered hit the spot! A+"

"Service: * Entering the nearly empty restaurant, we were not greeted, despite a person stationed at the entrance during the presumed grand opening week/month. * 5 staff members were present, yet none seemed to acknowledge our presence. We saw this with another couple that walked through the door as well. * The server appeared inexperienced; she removed our utensils without providing replacements for the forthcoming meal. * Upon receiving the check, we requested a pen, but there was a delay in response until the owner intervened after our second or third request. * Then the owner engaged with us upon learning of our Vietnamese background, which is the same as hers. She seem to be friendlier. Food: * The fried calamari wasn’t fried and was excessively salty. It was super soggy. We brought this to the server's attention. * The spring rolls were ok, but lacked amount of vegetables. * The Pho was disappointingly bland. Ambiance: * They had a TV on at low volume which made it uncomfortable for us to speak to each other in our normal voices, so we had to whisper. * This restaurant is trying to do an open kitchen concept with making their pho, which seems a little stressful."

"Awesomely fresh food. Cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Beer and fountain drinks were a little flat :( but they just opened and are learning the cadence of service. Other than that an awesome place to go!!! Definitely recommend. Gives wangs a run for their money!!!!"

"Haverhill finally has pho and it's good! It looks almost exactly like the old establishment with some slight changes. The staff are friendly and attentive. Kim was great! We order dumplings, drinks and 2 phos. Everything was delicious. Drinks took a bit of time but it was packed and they are just opening. I will definitely be returning!"
