"We love the Mandarin, but I'm we sure do miss the Sunday buffet. Our family would get together and enjoy a Sunday afternoon meal there, and with everyone having different likes and taste buds the buffet worked best for us. We still go, just not as often as we used to. The food is delicious no matter what you order."

"Mandarin is always consistent. I order from here once every month or so, and the food is always as I expect it to be. The quality is good, nothing is particularly greasy, and the price is reasonable. I recently had Mandarin cater my Christmas party, and the large order of food was just as good as smaller orders I've placed in the past. I felt the price was reasonable, and the communications around the order were prompt, and the food was ready for pickup when I arrived to get it, and it was still hot."

"My family and I had a great experience at the Mandarin restaurant in Reading! We had a surprise 30th birthday party for my sister in their upstairs room that can hold up to 45 people. The room was intimate, private and very clean. The manager Robert was terrific. He knew how to set up a party and worked with us throughout the process. We met with him on several occasions before the party and he was very knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. He was also great with working with us to surprise my sister. The night of the party Robert and the rest of the wait staff were friendly, polite and attentive. One of waitresses also helped us untangle our balloons, that we were struggling with while setting up. We had three different packages to pick from in their banquet menu. The food was delicious and the portions were big. They did a great job spreading out the meal throughout the night and did not rush us. If you’re looking for a great place, great service, and excellent food to hold your next function, I would definitely recommend the Mandarin!"

"The tuna blossom sushi was very delicious and fresh. I enjoyed most of the sushi dishes I ordered that night. I was a bit disappointed by the chicken dish, sorry I forgot what it's called now. The service was great. I had a waitress named Jenny and she was awesome and attentive. Everything was very clean and orderly too."
