"Thank you John and the Copper Swan staff for an incredible wedding weekend. We enjoyed the clean rooms, the Lounge, the excellent cocktails, the delicious and social breakfasts as well as the beautiful views. Your staff was kind and highly attentive. When the cops shut us down at the wedding venue, the Copper Swan welcomed the entire wedding party to continue the party long into the night on their beautiful terrace and lawns. During the day the location is close to amazing beaches, ponds and Wellfleet Main Street. I hope to come back to such a truly special place! I also brought my bike and there were many excellent routes to explore. Thank you Copper Swan!"

"We couldn’t have been happier with our visit to the Wagner at Duck Creek! Everything about our this place was perfect. The new owners are lovely and went above and beyond for us during our stay. The accommodations were very tasteful with a beautiful Cape Cod charm. The breakfast was delicious and lots to choose from. We travelled with a young child and they very warm and accommodating to his needs as well! We plan on visiting again soon! Thank you John and Grant!"

"My family and I had a terrific stay at the Inn at Duck Creek recently. Everyone was super cool and friendly. The rooms were really nice too and the history of the place is amazing as well. We will be back the next time we are in Wellfleet and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel/inn to our friends and family."

"READ THIS ONE: I have to say this was just way way better than expected. Even though we have a place on the Cape, we wanted to drink and not drive at a wedding - and so we booked two rooms at The Wagner - and THEN read the reviews. OMG - Some were so bad we wanted to cancel - but there were no alternatives available. So with some trepidation we showed up. I'm really glad we didn't cancel! The place is absolutely great - classic Cape heritage building with a lot of history and wide pine floorboards - except the bedrooms - which are all super fresh and new furnishings (except the clawfoot tub) - super comfortable beds - up-to-date fixtures and AC, really clean, and on top, the place is completely redecorated and all in really good taste! The hosts were warm, friendly and responsive (extra towels in less than 5 minutes) - and the breakfast French Toast Casserole was to die for. It turns out the previous owners pretty much abandoned the operation mid-season 2021, treating guests pretty badly in the process - and now the new owners are kind of stuck with that mixed legacy - a place with a storied reputation but some troublesome COVID era reviews. I'm going to say ignore the 2021 reviews completely - they certainly don't describe our experience at all and it seems that the new folks are incredibly serious about restoring the place to an even better version of its former self - and the staff seems 100% on board. I wouldn't hesitate to return. Location is unbeatable. Good luck, guys!"

"Beautiful property and truly rustic, yet charming, rooms in the carriage house. Each morning breakfast was fresh, warm, and delicious (the bread pudding had us going back for seconds). Owners were very kind and friendly. Can't wait to return!"
