"Was called day of about 3 hours before that the desk was gonna be closed at 3 for check in even tho thier booking had check in after 3 that I had selected and I was traveling from 5 hours away got into hotel room and it smelt like bleach so bad it was hard to be in thier, thier window ac unit was full of black mold and was sloppy cleaned on the face and could see the smear marks where thier was a attempt to hid it, the carpet in the room was so stained and disgusting you didn't wanna step on it with out shoes on and I filled the garbage can so I looked for a new bag couldn't find one and couldn't find any staff the whole time we were thier, so I went to a store and got my own garbage bags and when I took the bag out the garbage can was full of black mold, they told me they gave me two keys when I only got one and charged me $50 for not having two keys when I checked out. I should get a full refund my breathing was so bad each morning I will never recommend or use this establishment again."

"I stayed for several nights. The room was nice and comfortable, even bigger than expected. The bathroom and room were clean. The staff were amazing and very helpful! Great location for walking to both beaches and the Nubble."

"We stayed 1 night out of our 3 night reservation. The room was terrible. It was dirty, the door didn’t lock, the beds were extremely soft and the curtains had mold. I looked all over for an employee but couldn’t find one. I then left them a note with the keys and why we were leaving and never heard from them. I would avoid this place. On top of being filthy with mold their customer service stinks!"

"Great option for families. 1. Very clean rooms. Very spacious too for a room during peak season on the coast of Maine. 2. Great front desk staff—super friendly. Also the lobby is VERY nice. 3. A short walk to Short Sands beach. 4. Pool is heated AND clean! On top of that it’s reasonably priced, too."

"A good location for going out to see the area’s sights. The staff was pleasant. The facility is workable but worn and somewhat poorly fitted out. Beds are average. AC is a small unit in a poorly sealed wall mount, room refrigerator and microwave were located on shelves and a small tray that made them difficult to use. The restroom was clean. Toilets are oddly small for adult use. The stairs treads are narrow and not for the mobility impaired. Parking is sufficient. Access is easy, and the location is near the Beachfront and shops. On arrival this business disappoints because the website (as of June 2023) exaggerates most of the features. The location’s view does not offer the implied quality oceanside view from the facility. The website is also structured to mask the worn condition of the facility. While an excellent marketing design, it is at best ingenuous. As an example, the photo of a line of chairs in the grass implies a great view, but actually shows seats that face a hedge, a road, and the backs of some very nice beach houses. The images of the facility interior have also been processed to appear cleaner and more polished than the actual location is. There are no ocean views from all but perhaps one or two rooms. This is not a place to come to and enjoy an ocean view from the patio or balcony. This is a place to stay when between trips in the area and going out to sightsee. Its strength is it in a good location to walk, bike or drive from. If the website was clear and straightforward about this it would be far less disappointing an experience on arrival."
