"It is hard to describe - beyond what others have said - the sheer delight it is to stay at the Union Street Inn. My husband and I were in awe the entire time, and are finding ways to come back again as soon as we can. The staff is remarkably kind and helpful, and carry joy and grace throughout the space. The rooms are beautiful, and transport you into an idyllic history of Nantucket. It was the dream we had hoped it would be, thank you to all who work there - special shout out to Dennis:) We will be back!"
"A five star rating is not enough for this incredibly quaint, luxurious, well appointed, superbly staffed, impeccably clean and perfectly located Inn. I’ve traveled the world and must say this is a real stand out. Be sure to enjoy their breakfasts, especially the daily offering. The Union Street Inn is small but mighty. No stone is left unturned. We received a daily events menu and plenty of brochures were available for additional excursions. In fact, the first day we arrived, I took the 1.5 mile walk about they had offered by means of a handout. It was so informative. I loved the secret cobblestone path that started the quick history loving excursion. The staffers are beyond accommodating. They handled all our dining reservations on the Island. Two days in, I started writing postcards to family and friends and each day they walked them to the post office for me. On our last night there, we were given a fantastic dinner recommendation, Brotherhood of Thieves, and like everything else that surrounds the Union Street Inn, this recommendation was totally perfect. Housekeeping was exemplary and the amenities on point. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend The Union Street Inn."
"Union Street Inn was a wonderful Inn to stay at on our trip to Nantucket. The staff was warm, friendly, and accommodating. The room was clean and had plenty of space. Breakfast was delicious. The Inn provided anything you needed for a day at the beach. Would highly recommend staying here!"
"There aren’t many traditional B&Bs out there today. The Union St Inn is one of those wonderful old beautiful, full service Inns that I long for when booking a B&B. The Garden Suite was perfect with the three areas to relax in. I loved the charm and feel of history, original surroundings but with modern conveniences. An added bonus was the private patio which was large and constantly shaded. Breakfast being cooked to order and delivered to the room was an unexpected delight and delicious! Afternoon treats were also welcomed and delicious. The staff was lovely from our enthusiastic greeting and tour by Nayla to the rest of the personable, professional team. Who doesn’t love being greeted by name with every staff encounter? I couldn’t have asked for better service. My visit was short, but hopefully, I’ll be able to return for a proper visit to Nantucket. If I do, the only place I’ll stay is the Union St Inn."
"We stayed at the Inn for 4 nights and hit the jackpot with this beautiful B&B. All the staff were friendly, treated you like family and were available for suggestions, reservations etc. The fully cooked made to order breakfast on the patio each morning was the perfect way to start the day. They offer a spread each afternoon with coffee, teas, carrot cake and other goodies. We were able to help ourselves to cans of water from the refrigerator and daily newspapers were in the parlor. We stayed in room #2 which was beautifully arranged with a big comfortable king bed. The shower was perfect pressure for us. There is on-site parking for those who need it, and a bicycle rack for those renting bikes. A very short walk into the center of town and the wharf. The location cannot be beat! I cannot say enough about this wonderful Inn and it's wonderful staff. We would definitely stay here again for a Nantucket visit."
