"Whenever I need to shop for groceries, I usually look for a Stop and Shop, but not this one. The staff treat you like you are bothering them whenever you ask for help. The prices are terrible. Some item's prices are higher than Whole Foods! Even on the busiest days, they have very few check out people and so you either wait in long lines or brave the self check out. Self check out is a major pain. Once my groceries were tipping over so I adjusted the load and the sensors in the bagging area read that to mean I must have put something in the bag without scanning. So everything stopped while I waited for "help to arrive." After several minutes and not even a sign that someone noticed the problem, I simply left. That's just one of the major annoyances of shopping here. I have shifted my regular grocery shopping to another chain and will probably rarely if ever go to this place again."

"been getting pretty bad service from Elaine in deli Every time she helps me man it takes forever to get my orders She gets distracted with talking to her coworkers, talks to them god knows about what while I m waiting to be helped a few times while some other employee was helping me she got in the middle of our convo just like literally interrupted us - really annoying, the other day she didn’t acknowledge me even tho I’ve been standing right in front of her for a good few min waiting to be helped- had to talk to manager about it. She just looks miserable all the time, does everything sooo slow like she hates her job cuts meat n cheese on a dirty machine, doesn’t clean it after use unless I ask . 1 star to this woman"

"I used to like this location but they implemented a 10¢ per paper bag and removed the thick plastic bags which oddly costed the same, now they are actively removing all the convenient shopping baskets so you have to use a large shopping cart which makes the isles crowded since they only have 8 mini carts which are never available except to employees performing inventory and miscellaneous duties and they place large discount bins near the registers which makes navigating difficult when the useless store robot is seemingly always in the way. I don't understand the methodology of S&S, Shaw's is more convenient and don't charge for paper bags and they have small carts available"
