Bradford Carver House

"If you like charming old B&Bs with tassels on the lamps, wall sconce lighting, fireplaces, and antique (or reproduction) furniture, and doilies like your grandmother or great-grandmother used to have on every armrest, then this is the place for you. It's pricey in season, and the included breakfast is mainly yogurt, bagels, muffins, and fresh fruit. My room was huge and had an additional door to a small side-foyer leading to the side yard. It had a huge, comfy king-sized bed, but the old-lady decor was way over the top, at least for my taste. If it were a bargain I wouldn't care, but one bear week I spent 9 or 10 days there and the bill came to over $4,000. For that kind of money I'd rather go to Europe or take a cruise where all of your meals are included. Admittedly, it's the most expensive week of the season, but it was still high for what it was. The location was pretty good, not far from the town center, but I prefer staying south of Bradford Street. Off season rates are probably far more reasonable, but then they are for most P-Town accommodations. In summary, It's a nice place, but it doesn't earn 5 stars from this reviewer."

"Bill and Jose are very sweet and hospitable hosts. I’ve stayed at The Bradford Carver House quite a few times now and they always greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome. The guesthouse is in a great location and is just a short walk to commercial street. The rooms are always impeccably clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend this establishment if you are traveling to Ptown and are looking for a place to stay."

"The Bradford Carver House is a cozy and comfortable retreat in Provincetown. Our room had a plush king sized bed, a great place to collapse after dancing the night away. Our hosts were gracious and welcoming and we'll definitely be visiting again."

"Amazing place to stay!! Bill and Jose were fantastic hosts, the house was absolutely beautiful, very clean, and had everything a person could possibly need. The location was excellent, right next to the heart of town. I have paid 4x what I paid for this place at other establishments and had half the experience. Can't believe how cheap and wonderful it was. I will definitely be back!"
