"Unfortunately, this has been the worst customer experience and it is still not resolved. We sought to have our kitchen tile floor replaced through Home Depot and agreed to the installation price back in October 2023. This was after we paid to have a professional from Home Depot come take measurements of the job. After waiting for all of the required materials to arrive at our home, we then were left to consistently call Home Depot's selected contractor just to schedule the actual installation. After numerous no-calls or outright denials to schedule the job due to a lack of laborers, we had to contact management at this store who were completely unaware of their subcontractors unavailability. Once the installation date was finally scheduled for early January 2024, the subcontractor arrived at our home and after taking their own measurements (simply laying a level on the floor which still included the old tile and weathered subfloor) stated that the already agreed upon labor cost will have to DOUBLE along with our purchase of several additional pieces. When we told Home Depot that this increase is unacceptable and asked how this was missed during their measurements, we were told that their professional measurements were not reliable or extensive enough. Our two options were then to pay double the installation price to have our floor installed (of which our entire kitchen had already been disassembled for installation) or cancel the job. No other compensation was offered except once pressed, Home Depot offered to take back the material stacked in our garage. When we elected to send the material back, we were informed that the delivery team would be out the following day. The next day involved a call from the driver who was completely uninformed about what material was to be picked up, and stated he was 20 minutes out - but no one ever arrived and no follow-up calls were made. One week later, after several "guarantees" by store management that the pickup will be monitored and completed, we have been ignored for two more scheduled days with no follow-up calls or plan of action. After this experience, I STRONGLY advise all potential customers to avoid any type of services offered by Home Depot as there is zero communication between the store and their selected contractors, no accountability, and absolutely no attempts to resolve any failures of performance by their company and its associates."
"In general, the associates are very kind and helpful. My only complaint with this store is the inaccurate reporting of their inventory. For example, online they said there were 35 Fiskar bow saws in stock. Went there and found none!"
"I sent my Fiancé who is pregnant to the store to pick up an 80lb bag of mortar so I could finish a project I was working on. It took her 1hour to get an employees to pick up the bag off the shelf and put it in a carriage. Then 30 minutes to have it put in the carriage ,Then had to wait another 30 minuets just to get some one to take it out of the carriage a put it in our truck. One bag of motor. She asked multiple employees to help and every single one of them just tried to call someone down on the loudspeaker and couldn’t help themselves. Management should be ashamed of themselves."
"Worst Experience Ever!! Buyer Beware. Delivery left all appliances in my yard first of all. Damaged Appliances still sitting here with no plan for replacements two weeks later. A fork lift must have smashed through the back of my refrigerator. My Range still sits in my front lawn where it’s been for two weeks. Damaged LG Washtower sits even after it was to be replaced. I’ve had no means to cook, keep food cold or do laundry for 3 weeks now! Store managers do nothing. 1-800 number is useless. They say they will help them transfer you to the survey. Zero customer service. Not ONCE has one of the 4 store managers called me after many attempts to resolve. Don’t waste your time or money. This Nightmare continues."
"What the h#*@ is going on Home Depot? Every time I go in there the clutter in the aisles gets worse. On my last trip I went in for an extension cord. But there was no way to get them because they were pallets of stock blocking one entire side of that aisle. When i told one of the associates I was looking for an extension cord, I was told if I could reach in behind I could grab one otherwise it was going to "be a while" and offered no further assistance. Luckily 2 other employees had heard this (John and Brian) and came over asked me what I needed and climbed over the stock to get me my extension cord, the one thing that I went there for. Piece of advice for you Home Depot, take your employees for a field trip to Lowe's so they can see how a store should look and how your customers should be treated. Cuz you just lost one !"
