"We usually go to the Swampscott store but my wife was in Beverly doing errands so she stopped there to get my birthday cake. What a mistake! Bottom layer was 8 inches while top layer was 7 inches and the difference was just covered up with icing while being charged a premium whole foods price! Worst cake we've ever bought from them! Won't being going to the Beverly store again!"

"Staff are nice, store is clean. The hot bar (and salad bar) are not great. The most annoying thing is that the vegetables that are served at the hot bar are NEVER cooked properly: carrots, Brussel sprouts, broccoli, sweet potatoes. If I wanted crunchy vegetables, I would use the salad bar."

"After being followed through the store by a complete stranger… who later ended up being the Store manager. I who suffer from PTSD was there hilding my 7 lb support dog under my arm. I wasn’t introduced nor was I given a valid reason why I was being engaged in a bizarre conversation of unsolicited information. The person was completely inappropriate and out of line. I was uncomfortable and embarrassed in front of sales clerk who started waiting on me. If a support animal was unwelcome state that with valid reason! crawling up on a customer is like a scene from dateline! I left my purchase and the store… I will never shop in a Whole Foods store ever again! I hope Mr manager got what he wanted one less customer!"

"This is one of my favorite. Maybe my favorite grocery stores. It's located in Beverly, Massachusetts . I don't usually concern myself with their typical shelf products but they have a salad bar that is very large. They have proteins and you know with chicken and beef if you like it. I choose the chicken but the salad bar is the best. It's got four stations. All sorts of vegetables and fruits and different soups. I don't see anyone that compares to it. The salad bar cost $12 a pound and I don't mind that because I usually will get something under a pound and maybe it cost me 7 or 8:00 on another day. It might cost me 10 bucks cuz I'm a little more hungry but they got the best food there. You know for healthy. You know I don't go to McDonald's Burger King or Wendy's. I like salad bars where you can get really healthy food and whole foods has it so I really love it. But I got to tell you something else. You know if you're traveling around and you need to use the bathroom. Guess what? Their bathrooms are very clean, updated in modern and that's a really important thing to me. I'm a plumber by trade so I know what it cost to keep a nice bathroom. You know what we want in our own home. I give them five stars but I got to give a little critique here. They have a utensil dispenser on one end of the store only. They should put another one in by the other exit so you don't go to walk all the way down to the other end to get you utensils. Let's see if they pay attention I got to tell you I did review on Shaw's market in Nashua New Hampshire and it was concerning their bathroom which was totally outdated but they paid attention and they totally updated the bathroom so it was all new fixtures and it was nice and clean. You know what we all want. So nice work whole foods. Keep it up."
