Sawtelle's Pizza

"Worst experience ever. I ordered and Italian sub. What I received was a sub roll, one layer of mortadella only onion and peppers. What I ordered: please add extra onion and banana peppers. when I called I was told that as what I ordered. Nope. You weren’t listening. And if that was, wouldn’t you load up the sign with cold cuts. Not ans itailan, I don’t know what that was. And to charge me $14 and then tell me that is what I ordered without trying to make it better? Where is the customer service? Blaming must be a new wave of service. This old school overpriced restaurant will be lucky to survive in the current climate where people are more discerning since eating out is so costly nowadays. Patronize at your own risk."

"Incredible. Hands down some of the best pizza I've ever had. Amongst the plethora of great pizza the South Shore has to offer, Sawtelle's is a stand out. The crust is so perfectly crunchy it's like this pizza manifested itself from my dreams. The toppings are generously proportioned and cut from high quality ingredients. I'm personally a big Buffalo Chicken Pizza guy and can confirm: Sawtelle's BCP is worth the hype."

"I ordered a pizza and a salad to take home for us for dinner. The small cheese pizza was excellent! Still thin, crispy and delicious... just as I remembered it from years ago. The salad was made with all fresh crisp ingredients. It was a little pricey for the small cheese pizza but it was worth it for a change. Great service as well"
