Rye Motor Inn

"My husband and I stayed here on one of our nights to our honey moon and LOVED it. We hotel-hopped all over the east coast for a week and we both agreed the the Rye Motor Inn was by far our favorite stop. We loved it so much we wanted to stay longer than a day. It was nice having a full kitchen, the pool and the ocean so close! The decor and theme of the entire place was SO SO cute! I hope we can travel back here one day!"

"Our room had great ammenities and very nice attention to detail. My wife and I stayed for one night for our 5th anniversary we would defintiely come back. The heated bathroom floor was a very nice touch! Pool area and entire room was very neat, clean and had everything one might need. My only suggestion for improvement would be a couple of minor upgrades to the bathroom. The toilet itself was not very big. I am 6ft 180lbs and could barely sit on it, lol. The shower pressure was on the low side and does not have a removable hand held shower head. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The appliances were retro nostalgic, we loved and my wife loved the pink golden girls-esque decor. 9 out of 10."

"This is a great little motel. I should keep it a secret. Lovely pool, fun retro decor. The rocky beach with good bird watching and crashing ocean waves is just across the street. It is a mile to Wallis Sands so you could walk and avoid the crowded parking."

"Wow! What a fabulous inn! We stopped for the night and found this spectacular, fun, clean inn! What fun!! Everything was spotless - trust me when I say I’m a true germaphobe and this is one place I did not feel I needed to clean. Doug was more than accommodating and helpful. In fact, when we came upon the inn we called to hook a room and the whole process took less than 5 minutes !!!! It is that easy!!! The rooms are so fabulously decorated! Even my husband commented on how cool the fridge was, the coffee pot with mugs and the snacks. We will return without a doubt the next time we come north."

"The Rye Motor in is a hidden gem. I overlooked this place numerous times when searching for a place to stay near Rye Beach. We travel quite a bit and enjoy the higher end places, with full kitchens and comfortable space, etc. This place is at the very top of our favorite places we have ever stayed. We absolutely loved everything about the bungalow, the scenery, the ownership and staff and the pool area is simply amazing. Doug and his team spared no detail or expense when designing the rooms and pool area. Will be back yearly, and possibly during the shoulder seasons as well."
