"I shop here every week. It's a nice clean store and easy to find what I need. My biggest problem is with the carriages. When they finally got new ones last year they mixed them in with the old difficult ones. That makes no sense. I tried 4 the other day before I found one that was OK. Please get rid of those old carriages. Also can you place the carriage return racks closer to the store instead of at the end of the parking lot? no wonder no one puts there carriages away."
"I do online grocery shopping and pickup . Pickup was slow the last two times ; but generally they’re pretty quick, well staffed, friendly and helpful. The meat quality is top notch, very fresh . The prices on most items are well below the other local grocery stores. The store brand is excellent better than some of the name brands. They do a pretty good job matching items for substitutions which often are an upgrade. A few of my repeat items are often out of stock unfortunately, but overall I’m very satisfied and love ordering online!"
"This particular Walmart is good for grocery, deli, health and beauty and pets. I also use their pharmacy and they are all very nice. You can also get your flu and covid shots here. With that said, you're better of going to another Walmart for other needs. The store is pretty clean. I think the biggest fault, and it's not necessarily this particular store. But I had Walmart+ when I lived in Bridgewater and never had a single problem with delivery. But this Walmart in Halifax has to do something about their deliveries. Sometimes they would not show up. I eventually went down and spoke with management and they said they have 3rd party drivers so there really wasn't much they could do. My order had been ready so I asked if I could just take it since it was paid for. It was a hassle for them to change a delivery to pick up but eventually did. With that said, I dropped Walmart+. It's not worth the frustration."
"A smaller “superstore” than others which limits selections and availability. Lots of outdated items in the bread, meat, frozen and cereal sections. Told an employee who could have cared less and went right back to his conversation with a Walmart shopper. Deli department is hit or miss. They might be open until 6 but don’t plan on it, or be surprised if they suddenly say sorry we are closed, my shifts over and we can’t find help. If it’s not on the shelf they don’t have it in the back and no, they won’t check the back. The ladies at the register are always friendly and helpful - questions, issues.. they are there to help. I’m not thrilled about self check out - but I don’t mind it either.. but the option for the older generation should be made available.. especially those that have vision issues or disabilities.. it’s hard watching someone struggle just to pick up a few quick items.. the only other option is waiting in a ridiculously long line because there’s only one cashier on a register."
"I must say that the Pharmacy Workers are great. I do have a problem with the location of Sparkling flavored ICE water. Why, Why, Why is it on the very bottom of the racking?? I'm 70 years old and I always have to get on my hands and knees just to buy this product and I buy a lot, so my suggestion even though it won't be taken into consideration is move it so Elderly people like myself don't have to get on their hands and knees. FIX THE PROBLEM don't be a part of the problem"
