"Not the best experience that was had yesterday with an employee at this location. I was trying to locate a SureCan gas can since the gas cans at my home are garbage. So, I asked one of the employees when I entered the stores "where can I find your gas cans", he proceeded to say X aisle & they were on the floor. Therefore, after lots of searching I finally located them at the end of the aisle but you would have to take a right & they were on the floor in between the two aisles. But, no luck in finding a SureCan gas can at the directed location. So, I searched the surrounding aisles & ran into the same employee. I proceeded to ask him if SureCan gas cans could be carried at this location. He replied with, whatever is out is what we have. Which is not a very helpful response, so asked to speak to someone who works in that particular area & he immediately was annoyed by this. Stating, I have worked here for a long time & I know what's what. Now I don't know about you but from a customer standpoint, this is not a professional nor a curious reply when I am only trying to find a gas can. Probably should consider a different profession. Anyway, I showed him the specific gas can that I was looking for on my phone & he mentioned to me that some items need to be ordered & then they can be picked up at the store. Okay, if thats the case then the wording needs to be adjusted on the website so that it is more clear from a customers standpoint. Also, that would have saved a lot of time if that were to be mentioned at the beginning when I asked initially. FYI, save yourself a lot of time & headache & just go to the Ace Hardware in Exeter, NH."
"Today, exactly 10 days until Christmas, you made my family’s Christmas. The gentleman that helped me with the Christmas tree. I was not expecting that and I thank you so much and wish you the best this holiday season and many more to come. It is people like yourself that give hope to this world. I am very thankful for what you did for me and my two boys. God bless. You know who you are…."
"I will never do business with HomeDepot again. I own a business and made mistakes many times with this HomeDepot. The man that runs the carpet refuses to cut it to the amount you need because he doesn't want to switch the roll out even though they had over 140 rolls in the back. I offered to buy a whole roll and he told me to do it on line. I tried to do it online and I had to contact customer service because it wouldn’t let me. Customer service called this location and was absolutely horrified on how the staff handled the situation to the point where she felt the need to comp shipping and $100 off the order. I ended up going with a different carpet that was cheaper. And the delivery date was pushed back multiple times. Making my business look bad. I’ve been n similar situations in the past with other orders but this one was the last straw. They refuse to own up to it and blame the shipping company. Don’t do business with this place. Staff is rude and unprofessional and lazy. I hope your not a company owner trying to order 75 feet in total of carpet (900sf) not even that much. Not only did they loose out on a bigger order and more money because they where to lazy. But they lost out on all my business going forward."
"I buy most of my items from Home Depot. My favorite store is Plaistow and Seabrook nh. In the Plaistow store the appliance person was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! He helped me make my decision and was very helpful with my order"
"I visited The Home Depot store in Seabrook, NH today to look at some PVC piping to determine how I could construct something to help me load two kayaks to the roof of my car. They had a good selection of PVC pipes, elbows, and connectors, but I also needed some flat pieces of PVC. The clerk in that area was not very helpful and told me they didn’t stock such an item. Ten minutes later as I walked through the lumber area, I discovered a good selection of flat PVC products as well as other PVC items that I could use for a support structure. I was certainly disappointed with the lack of help from this clerk, but I guess nobody can know all the items such a large store as this might stock."
