"I wish they had below 1 for a rating because this hotel doesn’t even deserve a one! Horrible experience with this hotel. Worst customer service and the rooms are very old and run down. Chair was stained, rust around the toilet and carpet falling apart. The carpet is put down in squares, they are all coming apart and I tripped over one as soon as we entered the room. I know they are expecting to renovate next year so I guess there’s nothing we can do about it. But the customer service was appalling and that should be fixed immediately! The front desk staff are very rude and do not care about their customers. I’ve been in customer service my whole life and I’ve also stayed at Hilton’s all over the country. I love the Hiltons and that’s why I’m so shocked that I was treated so poorly. They don’t care and it shows. My story is a very long story but I did call the 800 number and those folks did the best they could to accommodate me. And they were very pleasant on the phone. They tried. The front desk staff needs some serious customer service training or fire them! I will never stay at this hotel again. I lived in Plymouth for twenty years and I think it’s disgraceful that such a horrible hotel is in my town. I read some reviews just now and it seems many people have the same complaints so clearly no one cares! Awful!"
"Final Update: the manager, Andrew, made everything right today, and shared that they were supposed to remodel this year, but corporate changed things and they had to push it a year. It’s usually corporate’s fault and not the people who actually run the hotel. Thank you to the cleaning, maintenance and managing staff for doing all they can to make our visit a pleasant one! There are still issues that need to be resolved by corporate, but I didn’t want anyone who works here to suffer for low reviews. The outstanding issues: The doors whistle 24/7. They haven’t done a remodel yet (hopefully in 2024). The soap in the bathroom will dry out your skin and the lotion doesn’t help. The pillows are lumpy and need to be replaced. Breakfast is decent, on par for a Hampton Inn. You can’t turn the volume down on the TV in the lobby, though. We’ve stayed here several times over the years and look forward to coming back to see what the remodel looks like!"
"Very nice staff.. our room was quite outdated though. Broken lamp, stained walls, rust on floor and doors. The front desk staff was great though. Pretty comfortable for a one night stay. Just needs some updating. It was clean."
"Our stay was one night on October 23rd. The customer service rep at the front desk, Sandy, was the best. She was kind and welcoming and had a great sense of humor. The room was nice, the breakfast had a good selection, the hotel location was great. We checked out the whirlpool, which was nice and relaxing, with the pool area being clean and inviting. All hotel staff that we encountered exhibited great customer service, which is how customer service should be!! Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area!!"
