"A great quaint and reasonably priced cottage place across from the north beach. The staff was fantastic and Cathy (mgr) made sure everything was as needed (even that important cup of am java). And best of all it is dog friendly and allowed us to have our first vacation with our pup. Is it on the boardwalk...no but just a car ride away. But an am and pm walk on North Beach across the street was perfect. Check it out! We'll be back next year."

"Ocean view is between buildings for some rooms, not all and there is direct beach access. Room is a good size. It is dated you can tell it is well used but considering this place is pet friendly the room doesn't smell like animals have been here. Bathroom, floors, microwave and fridge are clean. Linens look clean and fresh."

"What a gem! Do not let the less than perfect reviews stop you from checking this place out. They allowed for me to park there, much earlier than check in, to hang out at the beach until the room was ready. I received a message saying the room was ready and the key was there for me. Room 19 was super cute and thoughtfully decorated not only was it spotless but they turned the ac on so we arrived to a nice cool room. Staff was friendly and the beach access was the best. I will definitely be back"

"My fiancé and I booked a room a few weeks ago. We were extremely disappointed in the satisfactory of this motel/ room. As we entered our room, the door would not open fully as the floor was so uneven the door would get stuck on the floor. The room smelt like stale cigarette smoke, the room was dirty, the beds were extremely uncomfortable that we both woke up with horrible backaches. When we went to shower that evening the bathroom floors were disgusting! The shower was also not clean and the shower head pointed so far up on the wall it made it impossible to take a shower without standing outside next to the gross toilet in order to wash your feet. The towels were stained and very gross. On top of it all that evening we saw very large centipede bugs crawling all over the curtains! We decided that there was no way we could stay another night, so I went down to the front desk the next morning and I explained my concern and asked for a refund for the night or any sort of discount. We not only never received a response from them but never got any sort of refund! DO NOT STAY HERE!"

"My husband and I stayed for 3 nights as it was a heck of a deal for the holiday. The staff let us know when our room was ready and they were nice enough people when we interacted with them. I think the motel could get a few updates as the bed was so hard we had to buy a mattress pad to sleep on it and brought our own pillows, there is a Kleenex box and Christmas paper covering the windows on the front door and none of the outlets hold a cord, it falls out instantly. The room itself was clean, the shower pressure amazing. There is no coffee in the rooms so we had to travel to get some (office didn't open until like 8 or so). We did unfortunately have a a problem with the stomping above us, I understand kids but they were old enough to know better, the manager did say something to them so that helped. The beach access is a highlight."
