"Location was convenient and no waiting in line. They were typically busy but I was in and out quickly which I was thankful for as it was snowing."

"Stop and shop is one of the most expensive grocery chains in the area. You can get a paper bag at Market basket, Shaws, Lowes and even Jershey Mike's for free but not stop and shop they will nickle and dime you. It's no wonder why they are being crushed by everyone else"

"So, I go to Stop n Shop Faunce Corner Road Dartmouth to grab a few things. Go to self check out and I scan a pumpkin, of coarse the register says you need assistance with this item. So clerk comes over, i apologized saying i scanned it, not sure what i did wrong, clerk and says, " you can't scan that, you have to put in the number." OK, as cocci as it was said, I let it go. So they fiddle with it and finally put it thru, it now says quantity, so I said, " I have 2 of the same". And the clerk very rudely responds, "I can only hold 1 at a time". lmao! There was no need to hold the pumpkin. I stopped them right there and said, please don't pick up the pumpkins. I can do it. But there's no need to be rude with me. I've been very polite to you and this is the second time you've snapped at me. I schooled them on how some customers might be rude, but I was not 1 of them. (And why is there a bar code on it and you're not suppose to scan it makes no sense), but I told them that I'm not an employee and have no idea how to get to the screen where i can punch in the 4 digit item #, so the rudeness needs to stop now! They did apologize to me repeatedly and said I was completely right and that I was polite to them and on and on and on.... I know this person felt awful after they realized how they treated me. To be completely honest, the rudeness didn't surprise me as this was not the first time a S&S employee was rude and belittling to me. The only thing different this time was they apologized. I dont want to mention if this was a man or woman, or when exactly this happened because I don't want them getting reprimanded. I will say the others that have been rude and not apologized has been two women probably early 20s. 1 is a manager with brown straight hair. She's always rude and knows she can get away with it. Stop n shop Dartmouth St. New Bedford, never a problem there! Omg. I now look at my receipt and see when the clerk punched in for the 2 pumpkins, they also punched in for Asian pears??? Not in my cart or in my bags. Smh!!!!"

"Updated, My issue with pricing was fixed. Someone from management outside of the Dartmouth store contacted me and refunded me the money. But like I said before, how many times has this happened where I didn't catch it? Well, 3 months later and I'm still shopping there. Shame on me. So, I go there to grab a few things. Stop n shop Dartmouth St. New Bedford, never a problem there! BEWARE! Always check your receipt. I've been overcharged from this Dartmouth location twice within 3 days. The 1st time i noticed was Friday. A pick up order. I was overcharged $49. Employees not scanning items. So they charge you for what you ordered but give you something different that's a smaller version and lesser price. 2nd time Sunday I went in and used the self check out. Once again not all sale prices going through on register. Was over charged $12. This is upsetting as how many times has this happened and I just don't pay attention to my receipt. Food is expensive and this is not fair. People need to be aware."

"It great selection or organic and other healthy foods and good prices too , these are good too but prices are little high when sale on some things"
