"I dined here during my visit last Thanksgiving. We tried their garlic knot and Margherita pizza. The garlic knot was quite an experience – intensely garlicky, earning it a 5 out of 10 from me. It’s packed with enough garlic to keep you warm in winter; (disclaimer: your wife may not allow you to kiss her for straight 2 days LOL) The Margherita pizza was a delightful throwback classic, deserving a solid 9 out of 10. It was well-prepared, with the perfect balance of flavors that you'd expect from a traditional Margherita. The ambiance of the place added to the overall dining experience, making it a cozy spot for a casual meal. Whether you're a fan of garlic or prefer the classic flavors of a good pizza, Pastoral offers a good range to suit different palates. Just a heads-up for those considering the garlic knot - it's not for the faint of heart!"

"Food: delicious pizza made with fresh ingredients. A bit pricey since the pizzas are in between individual sized or for 2 people but priced the way a large pizza is usually priced at most places. Pizza dough was good, crust was more chewy than crispy; not necessarily a bad thing. Pizza is thin crust, delicious but I've had better. Service: friendly staff. I felt like they paid attention to us but weren't in our face every 3 minutes either. Atmosphere: clean and overall very nice. They have artwork around the place and the brick gives it a warm feel Would definitely go back. Again, good pizza but I've had better"

"One of the best wood fired pizzas I have had till now. We ordered the veggie one and it was spot on. We went late at night so it was overall quiet with very good music and the serving time was very less. Located in historic fort point neighborhood, would be my go to place for pizza."
