"Best pizza I've ever had, hands down (and I come from a place where you can find really good pizza!) We had the melanzane (eggplant) pizza and now I will forever have to go around life trying to find something comparable that I'm pretty sure will never be equaled. We stumbled upon this place while walking The Freedom Trail, it's only a couple of blocks away from it right before crossing the bridge, and we'll worth the pause."

"Overall: 9.8 / 10 One of the best pies in all of North America, if not the world. This is an experience and a must try. Order: St. Anthony 10", Giambotta 10" Crust: 9.5 Medium-thin crust, crunchy but with a nice chew. Very flavourful dough that holds up well to the heavy toppings. Sauce: 10/10 Aromatic and not overpowering, with a perfect sweet and spicy balance. The taste really compliments both the crust and toppings. This was my favourite part of the pie. Cheese: 10/10 Thick, soft, gooey, and extremely tasty. Very generous amount without overpowering the toppings. It's of the highest quality. Toppings: 10/10 By far the best quality and exceptional depth in flavour. The homemade sausage is a must and is delicious. Everything is fresh and flavourful. The peppers have a nice roasted quality. Incredible. The pizza is very balanced and crafted well. The toppings and cheese really stand out in terms of flavour profile and quality. The Italian parsley is a nice compliment. The crust can get a little too crispy on the edges when ordering a 10" (there is a 16"), but the brick oven makes the outside crust bubble nicely so it doesn't detract. The slices are absolutely perfect in terms of balance. This is truly a Boston and North End staple. The interior is rich in character and there are pictures of the celebrity customers all over the walls. The wait can be long but the service is efficient. They have cold beer and soft drinks on tap."

"My hubs liked the pizza, I wasn’t a huge fan of the bake (the veg and meat are under the cheese so they steam instead of brown), but the crust had a nice flavor. One thing we did agree on was that it was a bit pricey -we split a 10” and had 2 bottles of the cheapest beer and it was over $30 without tip. The inside is really great though -very traditional, old-style Italian. Side note: really tiny bathrooms!"

"Absolutely the best pizza! The crust is perfect, the toppings are fresh, and that sausage is the bomb! They really know how to make the best pizza here. This neighborhood pizzeria is very busy and packed with people, and it's loud in there. Customers will be standing in line for more than an hour to get in, it's that good."
