"This is not the original Ipswich bay dental. The previous owner sold it to a man called Dr Kwan. All these horrible reviews online were talking about how creepy this guy was. My friend just had an awful experience here. This guy called Dr Kwan was just foxy, arrogant, rude and stinky to my friend. And their staff would search for all the excuses they could use to avoid their responsibilities for their actions. If I could give a negative -5 star, they definitely deserve it. Don't ever go there to search for sufferings."

"This is a terrible dental clinic I experienced with all sorts of rudeness and threats to customer like me who was blamed by their own fault. This is my most horrible dental experience in life. The owner here is a man called doctor Kwan who was a rude, stinky and foxy person, yelling at a woman all the time. I came as an international with Blue shields blue cross insurance which covers most of my medical experience. As an international, I know it is very expensive and a messy to check in a dental clinic in United States, so I came to the Ipswich dental bay by requesting their receptionist to confirm if my BSBC insurance could be used here coz I read on my side that my insurance covers basic dental services. So on the morning when I came here, they confirmed with me by telling me that BSBC insurance would cover this dental service for me. That was why I proceeded to the next step by following their nurse to the dentist’s room. Well, the dental check was nice and the doctor was. Even the minutes before I stepped outside ipswich bay dental, their staff have told me politely that I will be able to receive my bill after the deduction of BSBC in weeks. However, several weeks later, i received a bill from them with a full payment. I was trying to call them many times to ask the reasons, their phone was never connected but it always left me with voicemails. I wonder why they told me at the very beginning that I could have the dental service which was covered by my BSBC. I tried again and again to call them back in more than 20 times, still, nobody picked up the phone and it was always voicemail. At the end of June which was like 6 months later, a lady called Diana finally got back to me by apologizing to me that I could pay only 50% of the full payment which sounded ridiculous to me that I had to pay for their fault. But as an international who came here new, I indeed found no way to help. Finally I had to go to their office in person to figure out the reason. The receptionist knew nothing about it by keeping telling me it was my fault that I didn’t check my insurance before coming to them. After 20 minutes discussion without solution, this man called Dr Kwan who is in charge of the Ipswich bay dental showed up. He yelled at me rudely by telling that pay or not, otherwise they call the police, and they will send this case to the collective agency which I don’t even know what it is. He saw through me that I didn’t know what is collective agency. Then he started to threat me if I don’t pay and leave, they are gonna send the police to remove me from their office. Well, as a woman, i didn’t know what to do, I was forced to pay the full payment. But I requested this woman who swiped my card to offer me a full description of my full payment by clearly telling when and what I paid for. She looked panic without any reasons and she wouldn’t even cooperate with me to show me a paper about what I paid and consumed there. If I paid, as a consumer I certainly had to know what I paid for and who received it and they were just arrogantly declined me. Finally we had to call the police to come for resolving this issue, so they started to print down the receipt about what I paid for. I don’t care about the money I paid out to them for their own fault for checking with the insurance company, whether it is 50% or 100%. But this was an awful and stinky experience which I suffered in their clinic. I feel like being badly treated and as an international, I find no way to protect myself. This is the Ipswich Bay dental I would never suggest anyone to use their service!! Awful!!"
