"We were so fortunate to find Natalie House for a recent 5 night stay in Boston. Tucked in a beautiful Brighton neighborhood, it is a lovely house that we found comfortable, clean and quiet. Natalie was a wonderful host who made us feel welcome, and we enjoyed her company along with the delicious breakfast she prepared each morning. Her home is a gem and we look forward to staying there again."
"Blown away in disappointment by the management . Upon hearing that a friend of ours was in critical health, we reserved a room to make the visit; got up sick the next morning and had to cancel. This occurred within 10 hours of reservation. I reserved through Expedia which marketed everything as cancellation allowed, NH cancellation policy didn't show up until I saw it in an email once I had cancelled. Nonetheless, I was sick and could not travel. I contacted Natalie House but was not permitted to talk with anyone who could make an adjustment. They have billed us $334!!! Yes, our friend passed away, and we did not get to see him. Yet, here we are getting this REDICULOUS amount of an inconvenience charge. Quite offended by this behavior and disappointed in the business management."
"This is amazing place like you stay in a small European Style Castle while you are pampered like you are in your own home with warm welcoming of the owner and also delicious hot home made breakfast just on your own order and cook in front of you. But remember it’s not place to stay there with small kids. Go there if you are either single or couple to have a romantic night with your loved ones. Try the only private upstairs flat to have your own privacy. Bottomline it’s an experience you’ve to try!"
"My experience was much better than what I expected for the price, and I feel very fortunate to have taken the chance on what seems like a newly opened place, and that I stayed here for all 4 nights of my stay in Boston. First, the bed was a dream for me, possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever had anywhere. I also had multiple pillows on my bed, which also helped me stay warmer. Second, the breakfast was incredibly hearty and excellently done by a wonderfully kind lady. I also had many choices of fruits, yogurt, and other breakfast items. It was the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel, ever! I was surprised and happy to find that the hostess/owner speaks Russian, as it is a language I've been learning for some time, and I honestly appreciate listening to it. In my room, there was a mini-refrigerator which was really helpful for me to save money on this trip, because I could just buy some food at a store and keep it fresh in the refrigerator, instead of always looking for a cafe or restaurant which would be much more expensive. It was very clean and comfortable, and the hostess/owner makes a real effort to make each guest comfortable. Check-in was very easy, and since my flight arrived so very late on my first night, I was really glad that the hostess still allowed me to check in so late when I called ahead to let her know I would be arriving really late at night. Instead of numbers, each room has a city name, which is a very creative innovation and makes the experience more unique. My room didn't have its name posted on the outside of the door, so it was a bit harder to find when I arrived, but it was the only room with a door open, so I figured out that it was my room, and I saw the room name inside the room. The interior of the house is very tastefully decorated, especially the breakfast area upstairs. It feels so special to be there. I was very grateful for all the extra special touches that made my stay more pleasant and memorable. The only small thing I might mention as something to improve might be that the floors are a bit creaky/noisy, so even though I try to step softly it makes noise, and when doors close they are a bit loud, but these are small things, and not a big deal. Also, sometimes other guests are loud, but this is not the owner's fault. Overall, I honestly, truly loved staying at Natalie House, and I feel so lucky to have found it for this trip to Boston. It is one of those places I will always want to remember!!!"
