"Horrible. Never going back to this Gental Dental location. The hygienist at the Malden location was completely out of line. Hygienists have ALWAYS been required to wear masks while administering dental cleanings. Long before COVID existed. I've been a patient at this location for the last several years. No issues. Same hygienist the whole time. Yesterday, I show up and Diane is barely masked. The mask looked dingy and stretched out. Like it had been the same one used for several patients. I told her I was uncomfortable and would she please make sure it covers all of her nose and mouth for my cleaning. She complained loudly the whole time but pulled it up. No sooner is it up but it falls right back down. Will not stay up. All of her nose and half her mouth is hanging out. I suggest maybe tightening the ear loops. She yells at me that I have no right to ask this of her " because she's a medical professional". Calls me paranoid. Tells me I'll have to reschedule as I'm not comfortable enough. Uh, with all due respect I was perfectly happy for all my appointments in the past few years with this EXACT same hygienist. Maybe Diane wasn't having a good day. Regardless that doesn't mean I deserve to be yelled at. Told I'm paranoid when she's not following *basic* hygiene. I have never in my life had a dental hygiene person act so huffy and unprofessional. Lady, you are going to be working with your face mere inches from mine. A mask protects both of us. I will go to a new dental office. This place was fine six months ago. No idea what happened. I cannot stress this enough . Prior to this visit similar mask requests were honored."
"Visited twice for cleaning. But never performed. They just kept on finding issues so I pay out of pocket expenses. It seems Dentist Luis Gervasio was just working to achieve some clinic targets. Although Assistant and front desk were helpful. But somehow they also know it's not the right place to be since dentist doesn't care about patients."
"Sketchiest practice ever. Charged my husband $1000 initially as their billing dept made an error. Contacted insurance and it was because they had a non licensed dentist practicing on my husband. Then i went and they did not clean my teeth and still charged me hundreds of dollars. Took 6 months to reconcile our bills due to their billing department messing up. Our insurance told us we should not owe them anything given they didn’t even clean my teeth and had a non licensed dentist see me, but we just paid it to get them off our backs because they kept sending us bills. Because of them we delayed our dental care 6 month (could not go to another dentist until we reconciled the sketchy bills we got from this practice). Not to mention I had to deal with all of this during my first pregnancy. So much unneeded stress. And staff are extremely rude. Go here if you want to be screwed over. Safe your time and money and go somewhere else. The front desk staff are all rude and miserable."
"My recent experience left room for improvement. When I arranged my initial appointment, the details regarding the services provided were not fully clarified. I was under the impression that the appointment included a cleaning, which I believed was a prerequisite for any whitening treatments. However, I later learned that this was not the case and that my appointment was solely for x-rays. There was a misunderstanding as the scheduling staff didn't explicitly inform me that additional appointments for other services, such as cleaning, needed to be scheduled separately. In future interactions, it would be helpful if the staff could provide more comprehensive information about the nature of the first appointment, allowing clients to make informed decisions about their treatment plans. However, I have to say a younger front desk assistant that was there was quite helpful. Other front desk staff seemed to simply care less. Terrible customer service and information."
"Had a deep clean with Lisa. First She explained the whys and whats. She was a very comforting and communicated very efficiently. She helped me be calm as I was very nervous and worrying about the pain. She made the clean very gently and I could not believe that I was done. I am going back for the second session this coming week and I am excited about it. I would recommend her work to anyone. The front desk staff was also friendly and professional. Thank you all"
