"Horrible! This dental office is out just for money. It’s my own fault for leaving my wonderful dentist in Everett just because I didn’t want to drive over there and park. They will tell you that you have something wrong and that you need to get a filling or some sort of other expensive dental work, just to get you to spend money. I needed a filling supposedly as I will never know if I really did because according to my old dentist in Everett, who I went back to said that my teeth were in great shape. This dentist did my filling wrong, and I just had to have a root canal recently, because I was in excruciating pain….. do not let these people scam you!"

"The dental work of replacing a filling was ok, tried to sell me a crown 1st. After the did the work, they told me I had to pay for the filling. I saw them a year ago and they took my insurance, when I went to ck out, they tried charging me for the work. I told them that I had insurance that covers it. They then told me that they don't take that insurance anymore but never informed me of that until after the procedure was done. They're scammers, after I refused to pay, the girl said she would bill the insurance Companybut I was responsible for the deductible. I don't have a deductible with fillings . The girl at the front desk told me if I don't pay the deductible that I would accrue late charges. I called my insurance Co and they told me that the doctor WAS IN THE NETWORK and I don't have a deductible. BEWARE OF THAT PRACTICE"

"I'm a former patient of Dr Bakopolus for about 20 years. Was a little disappointed when he retired - it's extremely hard to find medical professionals you like and trust - but he had other things to do with his life. At first nothing change other than the dentist at the practice - same office, same receptionist and same hygienists. I also liked the new dentist, Dr Lho, he seemed to be a good replacement for Dr B but over the last three years things have completely changed. New (several) receptionists, new hygienists. I realize having been a patient of Dr B for 20 years obviously people that had been there for that time or longer were going to retire or leave. The last two times I have been there things have been a bit chaotic (cv19 hysteria played a hand in that). But I figured I would give it one last shot. On my last visit all dental activities were taking place in barely separated office cube partitions in the basement, instead of the separate rooms up stairs. My hygienist went from trying to push a set of x rays - found out it was within less than two years, to charging me to take a couple of photos of my teeth. My teeth went from being perfect in the last visit to suddenly finding a crack in one of my teeth. The young doctor, not Dr Lho said - might last a year, 5 years or 20 years but you should probably get it crowned! - we'll give you an estimate on the way out. I also overheard him giving the same speech to the patient in the cube next to me. Not sure if I was at my dentist or a used car lot. This review isn't just for other people to get an idea of the experience they are in for but also for Dr Lho to look at the changes he has made to his practice. Things change in life. I had a great run with Dr B, time to find a new dentist. I debated or a 2 or 3 star review, it wasn't a horrible experience, just an unpleasant one, so 3 stars it is. Good luck to all involved."

"Overall decent experience since he took over the practice from Dr. Davis. They didn't charge me at least to replace a three day old permanent crown broke while eating a French Fry. They do have a front desk problem. Today they canceled an appointment saying they called me yesterday. They didn't. They blow up your phone to confirm appointments but can't bother to confirm a cancelation. I won't be back."

"Very nice people from front desk, to dental hygienists, to dentists. Everyone, especially us patients, seemed happy. I had some long overdue fillings and some other fixes. I never had any pain or discomfort and feel no need to go back to polish anything up. I never liked dentists, had a bad experience/discomfort from some fillings in 2013... but now know there are great dentists right in Saugus I can trust. All my appointments were on Saturday mornings which worked perfect for me. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a new dentist."
