"This was easily the most delicious pizza I’ve ever had because it was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. For me, pizza is usually just pizza. People love to talk about Chicago style or New York style or throw around the names of various regions in Italy, but really, most pizzas are just bread, red sauce, mozzarella cheese, and some toppings — and some places do it better than others. Detroit style pizza, though — this is something else entirely. It's a completely different experience. It’s like they reinvented pizza from the ground up, and they took something that’s generally okay and changed it into something incredible."

Thick pillowy dough like a Sicilian so one pizza is enough to split with my boyfriend with a slice or two left for the morning. It’s hard to resist getting an order half moons though.
